So my wiimote has arrived, it's working fine, but I'm having some problems, it connects to my computer fine then I go into dolphin, wiimote and change it to hybrid/real wiimote then press refresh, the wiimote vibrates, after that I go test out just dance 2014 and no controls work, nothing. Could it be that I'm using dolphin 3.5? Since just dance 2014 doesn't run on the latest version for me... please help, I also tried the toshiba stack and bluesoleil but I'm having different problems with those so I'm sticking to ms stack, please help me, thank you!

Okay I fixed it, but now the wiimote is not very responsive, I have to smash the A button to actually make it do something and sometimes it just stops working, how could I improve the responsiveness? Please help my new problem, thank you! Smile

Ok more info, the wiimote is not very responsive because I'm too far away from the bluetooth dongle, for it to be responsive the wiimote has to be basically centimeters away from the dongle, could you recommend a dongle I could buy from the uk amazon which let's be be atleast a meter away from it since I really want to play just dance 2014...

I have a similar situation. I have 4 Wiimotes I got from when I bought my Wii back in ?2007?. My controllers take a minute to connect, which is fine, but the controls are very laggy, and also have moments in which they do not respond. After after several minutes of connection, they usually disconnect. This is very worrisome as I have seen solutions online about "alternate wiimote timing", but this has since been moved or removed from Dolphin as it is no longer in the place told through instruction.

I noticed that when I disconnected and reconnected the BT dongle, Windows 7 would attempt to find and install drivers for my Bluetooth dongle, but about 6 seconds later it showed MotioninJoy drivers installing. I found this very odd, being as MotioninJoy was the company who created the DS3 program I have installed which allows me to play PC games with my PS3 controller. Since I no longer had need for using my PS3 controller (I now use a PS4 controller) I uninstalled the DS3 Tool.

Still the drivers were installed in the computer. I found a video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsgVKZZvm6o , on YouTube which almost perfectly explains how to uninstall the drivers completely. Personally, I found the "MotioninJoy Virtual Xinput for Windows" drivers somewhere else inside of the Device Manager. It was listed under "Microsoft Common Controller For Windows Class". This is probably because I used a PS3 controller. I had to uninstall the driver, take out my BT dongle, re-insert it, let the MotioninJoy driver detect the device, and then uninstall the driver again about 3 times over.

After this I also looked up online and found this webpage, http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/help-in-reinstalling-the-bluetooth-drivers-on-my/ea0f822e-276a-e011-8dfc-68b599b31bf5 , using Step 1 of the Answer. If you can't find it here it is:

Step 1: Start the Bluetooth service.
1. Click Start, type services.msc and hit enter.
2. From the list of items, double click Bluetooth Support Service.
3. Change the startup type to Automatic and click Start button to start service.
4. Click Apply and then click ok.

After this, I am now able to use Bluetooth flawlessly. Playing 4-player Super Smash Bros with 4 wiimotes on a PC is incredibly fun!

I did what you said but my wiimote still has to be touching the dongle to actually respond. This makes it impossible to play just dance which I got this for.
