Wiimote connected but not working

Hi,

i have a strange problem!

I can connect my wiimote to windows and dolphin. In Windows it says everything is fine and working and even Dolphin says "Paired up with 1 Wiimote" and when I click "Refresh" in the Wiimote-Config-Dialog, the wiimote vibrates happily.

But when I start a game or any other tool using the wiimote like WiinRemote the wiimote does not seem to work. Dolphin doesn't recognize any key presses or motion and WiinRemote does not show any motion but says it's connected to the wiimote.
Only once when I first connected the Wiimote to the PC the buttons of it worked in Dolphin but now - even after restarting the PC and reconnecting the wiimote several times - nothing happens when starting a game.

I have Dual Core 2.53 GHz, 4 GB RAM, NVidia 9600 GTM and an internal Broadcom-Bluetooth-Adapter.
I'm using Dolphin r7348 currently.

Try using an older revision (R6790 x86 Build by Electrode is the one I'm using, and I'm using that one right now, and no issues). Asside from that, I'm not too sure on your problem; sometimes revisions break things that were working previously, and it's common for it to work in the settings page, but not in the real game (as in, you're not the only person with this issue).

Oddly enough this just started happening for me today also. The wiimote connects as Wiimote 1. But as soon as a game starts it swaps to 2 and no longer works

I tried the latest rev as well as the previous one. Il keep trying

Edit: So i managed to fix it by connect 2 wiimotes. When the game started wiimote one moved to 2 and 2 moved to 1. So weird...

Using an older revision didn't solve the problem and in fact I think Dolphin is not the problem.
I want to use the Wiimote with WiinRemote too and it says it is connected but doesn't record any motion.

I am using the standard Windows 7 bluetooth driver and a Wiimote I bought on ebay. It might be an replica but I cannot tell for sure.

When I first connected the Wiimote it worked in Dolphin once but anymore...
And I also do not have the problem with the Wiimote switching from Controller 1 to 2 or similar...

PS.: I didn't find any similar thread in the forum here so I started this one.

The standard windows bluetooth driver cannot handle the WiiMote, it will connect and install the HID drivers but the full WiiMote input will not working without additional software.

The WiiMote transmits a lot of input data and the windows input handler is only built for keyboards/mice/headsets.

I had the same issue connecting my WiiMote, Dolphin would detect it and it would rumble when i refreshed and paired but ingame it simply would not work.

I reccomend BlueSoleil, it isn't free... although there are ways of getting it free... hint hint...
Or you could use WIDCOMM, http://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/update.php make sure you install this latest version.

Im on 64bit windows 7 and getting my adapter to work was a real bastard. WIDCOMM wouldnt work and only after installing the 64bit version of BlueSoleil would the WiiMote work correctly.

The moment you wrote this I figured it out myself!
Refering to this guide I thought the windows bluetooth stack would go good.
But after many failures I tried BlueSoleil and many other but BlueSoleil does it's job fine since then!
Now I only have to adjust my self-made sensor bar.

I was using 2 candles until my bro mentioned his old track IR xD the track ir is beatiful, so smooth

For now I cannot afford a TrackIR, although it sounds very nice.
I have made myself a sensor bar out of four infrared LEDs, an USB-Port and some wire. So far it works but seems to be a bit wide or something. I'll figure it out sooner or later!

So I thought too but my standart windows bluetooth driver didn't work...
