So I really don't know if this is just a Windows 8 problem or what but whatever.
I got Dolphin a while back and had been using it for Gamecube games and decided to play some Wii games. I went into my Bluetooth and pressed the sync button on my wiimote, connected it to my computer, it got registered by Dolphin, and everything went well. The game played, picked up my motions well, and everything. I connected another wiimote to my computer and it still worked. Then I opened up a game I needed the pointer for and switched the first wiimote port to emulated wiimote so I could use the mouse as a pointer. The wiimote in the first port disconnected and when I finished what I needed the pointer for I switched the first port back to real wiimote. The wiimote did not turn back on so I went into bluetooth settings to reconnect it. I saw that windows still said the first wiimote was connected, so I pressed the power button on it. The lights flashed but it did not connect. I pressed the sync button, then the 1 and 2, neither of which worked either. I tried clicking disconnect on the wiimote in windows and after a few seconds it said disconnect failed. I tried again and the wiimote icon immediately disappeared without going through the wait. I disconnected the other wiimote, which went normally with the second of wait after I clicked disconnect. I closed out of settings and went back to my desktop. Some time later, I open Dolphin back up and go into settings and see Bluetooth is gone under PC and devices. The bluetooth icon was even gone from my toolbar where it normally is. I googled around trying to figure out what happened and couldn't find anything other than my bluetooth radio may have randomly broken. I try some things, turning on airplane mode, restarting, even going into device manager and, surprisingly, bluetooth was even gone from there. About a week passes and I restart my computer for whatever reason and when it boots back up, my bluetooth is back. Woo. I don't know what made it happen because I had restarted my computer quite a few times before that. Anyway, a week or so later, I want to play some Wii games again, so I connect two normal wiimotes, no problem, be extra careful to disconnect them from PC settings, and everything's good. Then I go try to connect a wiimote with wiimotionplus inside. Then when I tried to disconnect it, the same issue happened. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I was using a wiimotionplus inside the first time as well and from what I've read those can be problematic, but this is pretty bizarre. Any ideas?
