Wiimote audio not coming through any device with real Wiimote

Using Mayflash DolphinBar and 3rd party Wiimote+ through emulated Bluetooth adapter > Real Remote. If I enabler speaker data, the remote immediately crashes and I have to take the batteries out. I lose the audio that they should be playing.

I would be OK with either the audio through PC speakers or through the Wiimote but feels like both options are impossible. Do I need more hardware? Why can I get audio through PC on emulated remote but not if I use real remote?

Wiimote audio support is tricky. If you have a -TR Wiimote, it should somewhat work by enabling speaker data on Dolphin, but audio quality will be worse than on a real Wii. If you have a non-TR Wiimote, all you'll hear by enabling that option is a garbled, unrecognizable mess. Currently, the only way of achieving fully accurate Wiimote audio regardless of what type of Wiimote you have is by using Bluetooth Passthrough mode, but it can be very picky about the particular BT Adapter you have and it also isn't compatible with the Dolphin Bar...
