Heya guys!
I'm giving up. For the past eight hours or so, I've been trying to get this thing to work.
I have the following:
- Windows 8
- a Azio BTD-V201 (which doesn't have windows 8 drivers)
- a brand new wiimote motion + of the hellatious RVL-CNT-01-TR variety.
I've tried to get it to work with Dolphin, first the stable 3.5 release, then the 3.5-1406 release.
I've tried the default windows 8 bluetooth drivers, the toshiba drivers (then the toshiba for windows drivers because I was dumb the first time), and bluesoleil.
Windows 8 drivers would claim to register the device, but wouldn't connect, and I got bunk in Dolphin.
The original toshiba drivers would work with the device up to registering as an HID-compliant device.
The Toshiba for Windows drivers, which I'm using right now, work fine, and will actually register the device, but Dolphin doesn't see that it's there, and refuses to connect.
BlueSoleil would let me connect, and Dolphin would register that there was a wiimote, and the wiimote would even vibrate when it did that... but that was it.
Windows 8 with the stable 3.5 release of Dolphin would register that there was a wiimote, and let me play games that would normally give me hell saying I needed to have a wiimote installed... but it didn't vibrate and gave me no buttons.
If it matters, here's what I'm running: Intel i5-3570k / AsRock z77e-itx / EVGA GTX 670 FTW. I have updated drivers for everything. The bluetooth dongle is connected to a powered USB 3.0 external hub.
Any ideas or help would be wonderful. Thanks!
