Sorry but I don't know what WiinRemote is. I don't use anything other then Dolphin build 4525-4590 (anything above 4591 killed real wiimote use right now).

It might because you are using RTM but that shouldn't be the problem. RTM should have all drivers needed, but then again RTM might be striped down driver wise so that way the companies (say like DELL) would only include their drivers.

I wish I could help you out.

¡THanks for your answer!

I´ll try to get a full w7, and verify the driver issue again.

I download Orleans Builds. But it's up to 4597 whitch is broke for real wiimote support right now. but use the 4925 from the Dolphin Download page. http://www.mediafire.com/orleans

Good Luck.

Hi,
I have probe wiimote on w7 x64 on a friend computer, and the same discouraging result. The blue leds flash continuously, w7 detects the device as "Nintendo RVL-CNT-01", the program "WIINREMOTE" detect the device so, but can´t operate with it. Of course, neither dolphin.

Any idea?

HI,

Changed bluetooth dongle. Belkin mini bluetooth adapter, mod. F8T016ne, with Broadcomm chipset, instead generic one. I´ve installer Widcommm drivers. Nothing happens. Same result.
¡It´s frustrating!

Anyone knows why?

I was getting exactly the same issue as this with Windows 7 x64. I tried all the different BT stacks and had the same problem. I also tried it on Windows vista x86 and Windows XP x86 with the same hardware and various stacks with the same issue (the Wiimote was connected but none of the tools like WiinRemote registered any data coming from it). So I was not convinced it is just a Windows 7 issue but something to do with my USB bluetooth hardware.

However, for my final test I installed the latest version of the WIDCOMM stack (the driver showed as Broadcom 2045 something I think) back on Windows 7 x64. The Wiimote connected as usual, but instead of trying WiinRemote I went straight into Dolphin. Clicked on the Wiimote menu - had the little vibration - closed the Window, but randomly this time the first blue light stayed on. When I loaded up Mario Galaxy it was using all of the functionality of the Wiimote for the first time!

I then closed dolphin and tried some of the Wiimote tools, and none of them worked. Some reported a wiimote was active but gave me no inputs. Others just told me a wiimote was not connected. I hope it was not a one off as I tried disconnecting and reconnecting again but Dolphin did not seem to want to use it the next time. I'll try and see if I can find a specific sequence of steps that allow me to reproduce this again.
