My new 2in1 Wiimote with Motion Plus keeps disconnecting. I bought an External bluetooth since my Internal didn't work with my Wiimote. I use bluetooth adapter with Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba (v.8.0) but when i play games such as New Super Mario Bros or Skyward Sword the controller will not stay connected with the bluetooth all the time. After about 2-5 min it will disconnected and then i have to reconnect it all over again which is quite annoying ofcourse.

My questions are:
- Is anyone else having the same problem with the same controller? (NEW 2in1 Wiimote with Motion Plus) if so did you fix it?
- Is it fixable?
- If not, what to do?

If you need any information just tell me and i will answer ASAP. I just wanna enjoy the Wii Games on the computer without spending endeless of minutes reconnecting the controller every minuts or so.

And i'm sorry if this has been asked before.

I have a solution for you, but I haven't finished implementing it yet. See my other thread for how I can now permanently (really permanently, it comes back after taking out the batteries and putting them back, or restarting your computer) pair Wiimotes on the Toshiba stack.

Can you help me out with some details for the "NEW 2-in-1" brand controllers? (not to be confused with the other "2-in-1 Motion" brand)

What are the VID and PID? What name does it say in the Bluetooth Settings window?
Does it work in GlovePIE? What features work in GlovePIE (buttons, accelerometers, IR, expansions (genuine Nintendo ones if you have them), leds, rumble, MotionPlus)?

Can you also test the NEW 2-in-1 brand Nunchuk (which I assume came with it) in GlovePIE? Does it work (with a real Nintendo Wiimote if you have one)?

If you give me your email or just post information here I can try with you to get everything working.

Q: Can you help me out with some details for the "NEW 2-in-1" brand controllers? (not to be confused with the other "2-in-1 Motion" brand) A: Here is a picture of my controller: [Image: 1082684.jpeg]

Q: What are the VID and PID? A: This is all i could find:
USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001&REV_5276
USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001

Q: What name does it say in the Bluetooth Settings window? A: Nintendo RVL-CNT-01
Q: Does it work in GlovePIE? A: I have the program but i don't know how i can test it. But i can say the controllers works 100% perfect in every single game but the problem is that it keeps disconnecting every now and then. Smile

If you need more information i will try to help but you have too tell me how i can do it.

I don't think that's the right PID and VID. I think the best way to find the VID and PID would be to start Device Manager, Human Interface Devices, Bluetooth HID Port, right click, properties, Details tab, then choose Children from the drop down list.

I got the same problem, The Wiimote disconnects after while.

W7 x64, Toshiba stack, Hama BT stick, Wü ThirdParty Controller (Nintendo RVL-CNT-01)

Works fine until disconnect.
