Recently I attempted to play xenoblade chronicles on dolphin. I ordered a dolphin bar to help with motion control, but for the time being, I would have to settle with a keyboard. after setting my bindings, I go ahead and boot up the game. I am on the start screen now. It says "Press Any Button". I attempt to press mouse 1 (which is bound to the "A" button on the wiimote). Nothing in game appears to happen. All that happens is the appearance of a message in the top left: "Wiimote 1 has been disconnect by the emulated software." I assume I must have done something wrong in my settings, but apparently not. Yes my device is set to my mouse and keyboard. Yes all my bindings are correctly placed. Yes my keyboard and mouse are set to be an emulated wiimote. I say, "Okay, maybe it's just a problem with this current emulation." I close xenoblade, and reopen. This does nothing. I get the same results as the previous attempt. I've seen many other users on this forum with this problem, but it seems no one has a definite solution. Here I am now. I've been messing around with the settings for almost 3 hours now. I've tried reinstalling dolphin (btw I use 5.0 stable version). Hell I've even tried reinstalling the rom. I know it seems like I'm just ranting about this chain of events, but frankly this has caused much frustration.

Can you show your Wii Remote Settings? It's working fine for me in the latest development builds.

ok bit of an update. I thought the stable version would be more suited for this task, but apparently not. I downloaded the latest build, and it works fine. My bad.

The stable version should work for this but I guess something else was going on...
