Release date of the PAL european version is 19 August, so some of us will soon be able to fully enjoy this game Smile

So far it seems like the game runs fine most of the time, I'm getting 30fps for the most part, except for the intense battles in the opening, some of the cutscenes drops to 15-20fps, but once I get control of the character and actually fight, the framerate seems to stablize at 25-30fps.

But I'm having problem with the sound, even when I'm running around in the town (getting solid 30fps) the bgm seems to stutter and gets staticky. When I talk to Dickson it was like that too, the framerate was also at a solid 30fps. Is my computer too weak to run this game? Has anyone with less than an Core i7 being able to run this smoothly? Thanks.

My rig
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 OC@3.44ghz
Patriot 4GB DDRII 800 ram
WD Black 640GB hdd
ATI HD4850 OC@800mhz gpu/1100mhz vram

I can't say for certain because I haven't been playing too long but FPS issues are prob due to your specs, I get solid 30fps 99% of the time. Audio during the first cutscene was stuttering like crazy though. Hopefully it gets taken care of, this game looks too ugly on my Wii

And to the guy who asked, believe it or not some people know more than one language, and also Dolphin is popular all over the world Smile I imagine there's at least one guy working on it that knows Japanese and can help make the game run perfect

Able to understand Japanese or not this'll be in english and 4 other european languages in 2 weeks. I know there's supposed to be an audio bug on dolphin, with a patch, I'm not sure what latest releases will have that patch applied though. That should be the audio problem you're getting drifter I think.

That's pretty cool, more will get to enjoy it... but I'm willing to bet NOA still doesn't publish the game lol And if they do, I'm betting they'll axe the Japanese track. I remember the Japanese version of Other M had dual audio but NOA's version only had english, go figure.

No, they won't at this point because european import pre-orders will cut into their final sales since the game is out so soon there and no announcement here yet.

Someone on another forum recommended r7236, this version work very well with my rig. There's no audio stuttering during cutscenes now, even on motion intensive scenes like the ch.2 boss battle. Only occassionally there's audio stutter when I'm running the open field, which I can tolerate. For anyone with a similar spec to my rig I recommend giving r7236 a try.

How stable is Xenoblade emulation ATM?

I'm trying to decide whether my first playthrough will be on Wii or Dolphin. I'd love to have nice 1080p visuals, but I don't want my experience to be mangled with crashes, low framerates and sound stutters ...

I'm running this game on my Mac (with the latest version of Dolphin), but the FPS is terribly low. The cutscenes are around 30 FPS but the gameplay is like 5-6 FPS. The specs of my Mac (they are in Dutch, sorry):

Modelnaam: iMac
Modelaanduiding: iMac7,1
Processornaam: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processorsnelheid: 2,4 GHz
Aantal processors: 1
Totaal aantal cores: 2
L2-cache: 4 MB
Geheugen: 2 GB
Bussnelheid: 800 MHz
Opstart-ROM-versie: IM71.007A.B03
SMC-versie (systeem): 1.20f4
Serienummer (systeem): W88048KHX86
Hardware-UUID: 00000000-0000-1000-8000-001EC20DCE47

What can I do to increase the FPS?
