I think I may have fixed the sound problems. After tinkering with the properties, and playing for about 1 hour with these settings (12 hours in - Makna Forest), I think these are the best I can come up with.

I tried several Versions but the r7714M (no special options) got the best results with the sound error (close to zero sound problems) but in exchange with many (or better ALOT) App crashs, hangs and ntdll.dll errors.
Sometimes it works for hours without any problems and sometimes its crash after 5min.
The 3.0 Version give me a instant crash, sound stuttering and noises.

Do realize that everytime you use a new revision without copying the shadercache file(which may not always be compatible across all revisions?) that this game creates, you're going to get those spikes in battles as the file is built. Just incase anyone is holding that against a new revision they've tried.

What release are you using?(Even though it may not be a setting issue as vortextk has stated, I would still like to try)

I'm currently using r7719 and am unable to play for more than 10 minutes before the sound constantly stutters each time I restart the emulator.

This game runs almost perfectly. It's a shame the sound problem ruins it.

Not sure why we have to discuss the PAL version of Xenoblade in the NTSC-J topic, but okay.

I actually have no sound issues except for sometimes after I've been playing for a while. The sound will start to double/static. Restarting the game fixes it.

As for gameplay and graphics, I have the emulator cranked up to the maximum and I get a solid 25 fps. As far as I've been able to accomplish, getting the game any higher than 25 fps makes it RUN faster. I'd like to know if anyone has found a way to boost the FPS without increasing the game speed, but 25 works for me.

The two images show my settings and what the game looks like at these settings.

Also, I only ever seem to get those slowdown spikes in battle when using a skill or something for the first time that playsession.

Edit: For those unable to view the images I attached, I just linked to them in my photobucket here: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=14588&page=14
