Hi, so i have been playing the game for awhile (about 60% finished) when the game started giving me an error while loading "failed to allocate executable memory". The error normally popped up once and the game would let me continue no problem. But now it keeps popping up twice and dolphin crashes and i am unable to play. I have had no issues watsoever before this point and have actually been able to play for about 5 game hours with the original one time pop up that would allow me to play. I am using the recommended settings from this site and I have 8GB of ram, on a 2600 i-7 intel processor, and an amd hd 6800.
This is frustrating being I was enjoying the game and am hoping I can continue playing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 04-04-2014, 05:34 PM
Use winMD5 and get the MD5 hash of your ISO, and past the result here please.

For some reason my game crashes on the first load after the start screen. I tried directx9 and 11 and opengl and it still crashes. Also tried different resolutions and aa and other settings still fails.

Yea, looks like you have a bad dump. You'll need to dump the disc again and check it's MD5 hash and make sure it's right.

Alright. I'm using the latest stable release of Dolphin, however, seems that I can't use my texture pack or rather, I can't get it to load. I noticed they moved the folders to Documents~ so I put in the appropriate location and nothing happened. The game ID matches and all of the files were already renamed to the proper ID before using the name converter. I'd like to also mentioned that this texture pack loaded fine from an older version of Dolphin with no hitches. I've tried changing my slider from Safe to Fast on the texture cache and back. I've tried dumping and taking one file and drawing a bunch of red scribbles and nothing shows up.
I'm at a loss. I'm trying to start working on a project where I resize the texture pack so that it fits appropriately within my 5760x1080 resolution by scaling all the files by a percentage width wise. However, I need to be able to load the textures before I can continue. Edit: So I downloaded the latest dev build that was released an odd two hours ago and the textures loaded fine. However, I don't see any higher than 4x SSAA. Is there a way to go higher? 04-05-2014, 08:43 AM
I know this isnt exactly on the topic of Xenoblade Chronicles but can someone explain how to use DX11 or DX9? Is it something you have to put into the ini? All I see when I go to settings is Direct3D or OpenGL.

Direct3D is DX11 . DX9 has been removed...for good
