Might need to back off on the overclock if you have one, chewy.

Your specs are somewhat underpowered for consistent fullspeed, so you'll probably get some slowdowns, but if you use the latest revisions, you should get decent speeds. You may have to use the OpenAL audio backend and increase your Latency setting to avoid getting choppy audio. You should probably use the OpenGL graphics backend, as it's generally the fastest option these days.

Thank you, but i have a question about D3D and OPenGL now. My graphic card is AMD so the quote "OpenGL is the fastest for NVIDIA and D3D is the fastest for AMD" or whatever it is... is still right? And if not, which backend i should use now to play most games at highest performance? And of course, i'm using latest version, one is Stable 4.0.2 and the other is 4.0-561. Sorry for my bad English

That was true like, last month, but time flies, and the devs work on Dolphin a lot. OpenGL uses a technique to stream vertexes (technobabble, but hey it works :p); at first this was only implemented "correctly" for Nvidia GPUs (technically AMD GPUs had the proper extensions and didn't require any hacks iirc, but there were some driver issues or something like that). Now the OpenGL backend streams vertexes for both AMD and Nvidia GPUs. So in the latest development revisions, OpenGL is generally the fastest for most users. 4.0.2 is the latest stable build, but the development revisions have a number of new speed ups (not just with streaming vertexes), and they're generally safe to use for everyday gameplay. So I'd go with 4.0-561 (or whatever is the latest when you read this) and use OpenGL.

Thank you very much. I'm playing RERemake and ReZero Wii version, and i usually test the speed with this two games in some places where can cause slowdown. I think i should get an old version like 3.5-xxx to compare to latest version about the OGL and D3D. And it will be OGL for the latest and D3D for the old one.

's me again. Just to let people know: My problem with fps drops after a minute or two wa that my cpu was overheating. Not because my CPU can't take the dolphin heat but because I'm a stupid slob who did not think bout cleaning his beloved pc's fans every once in a hundred years.

I edited my problem posts with my "solution"

I'm trying to get the Speed Modifier Gecko Code to work. I have been unable to get it to work. There are two codes for speed modifier (not sure why). I have tried the code with one code enabled and the other off and then the reverse as well as both codes on at the same time. Other codes work but this one doesn't. Anyone else know why they aren't working or is there anybody currently using these or used these codes in the past? Thanks.

Currently using 4.0.2.

Edit: I have like 50 side quests to do and would love to get them out of the way so I can continue with the plot.

Have you checked the "Enable cheats" option under the main configuration tab?
