Just a question...Everywhere I hear you guys saying OpenGL is faster than Direct3D with NVidia Cards...I haven't tried with other games, but at least in Xenoblade, that is DEFINITELY NOT the case for me...is this thing game/OS dependent? Or am I interpreting wrong, and what's real is that OpenGL is faster with NVidia cards than with AMD cards?

I have a GTX570 and I'm running Windows 7 x64.

D3d does seem to be a bit faster in this game, but if you have efb to ram enabled the difference is huge. Efb to ram and opengl are very slow. In most games with efb to texture enabled and vertex streaming hack you will find opengl to be faster than direct 3d though.

The worst I get is 25 FPS with EFB2RAM with OpenGL. If you don't have the Vertex Streaming Hack enabled when using Nvidia hardware, you're missing an opportunity there :p EFB2RAM is largely unnecessary in this game, unless you care about certain glow effects and being able to see that little picture when you save/load games.

Revert what you did to mess up the controls.

i gave my xbox controller away so i cant revert them cuz the setting only fit to xbox controller. It works well with any gc game just not with xeno blade(Wii Game i know, and yes i set up the controls for virtual wii mote thing) i tried like 4 different versions of dolphin and nothing works. In the Pre screen the buttons seem to work well cuz i can scroll to options and game load, but just after the intro i cant do shit i cant move i cant do anything except jumping. Also skipping the first cutscene with my gamecube controller did work. When i set the same buttons for my keyboard it instantly works (but this game suckz with keyboard).

i am using 3in1 magic joy box usb adapter with a gc controller.

help would be awesome.

Also if someone uses gc controller for wii games. Would be awesome if someone gives me the config save file.

@ReacH13: Can you post screenshots of your Wiimote configuration? Preferably, click the Wiimote button, take a screenshot of that, then click Configure and take a screenshot of the actual input mapping. Also be sure to take a screenshot of whatever extension you've configured (Nunchuk or Classic Controller).

If anyone is having problems with the sound here is something it works for me:

using the 4.0-224 with openAL latency 2, works perfect with the pal version patched to 30fps, the bad is you can't use custom textures Sad

using any ver below 4.0-166 will let you use dx9 and use custom textures but the game will run very bad(at least for me) and the sound will glitch no matter what Sad

so is either playing smooth or having custom textures

here is my xbox360 controller config
[Image: 4zjb.png]
Quote: Classic/Buttons/A = `Button A`
Classic/Buttons/B = `Button B`
Classic/Buttons/X = `Button Y`
Classic/Buttons/Y = `Button X`
Classic/Buttons/ZL = `Shoulder L`
Classic/Buttons/ZR = `Shoulder R`
Classic/Buttons/- = Back
Classic/Buttons/+ = Start
Classic/Left Stick/Up = `Left Y+`
Classic/Left Stick/Down = `Left Y-`
Classic/Left Stick/Left = `Left X-`
Classic/Left Stick/Right = `Left X+`
Classic/Right Stick/Up = `Right Y+`
Classic/Right Stick/Down = `Right Y-`
Classic/Right Stick/Left = `Right X-`
Classic/Right Stick/Right = `Right X+`
Classic/Triggers/L = `Trigger L`
Classic/Triggers/R = `Trigger R`
Classic/D-Pad/Up = `Pad N`
Classic/D-Pad/Down = `Pad S`
Classic/D-Pad/Left = `Pad W`
Classic/D-Pad/Right = `Pad E`

Excuse me seizing upon this, but...

... is this the reason why Metroid Prime is such a bastard to run? Because it needs to have EFB to RAM, which by definition takes a massive shit on OpenGL performance?
CPU: Intel Core i7 4770 3.4Ghz (3.9Ghz Turbo)

GPU: 3GB NVidia GTX 780 (Superclocked)

RAM: 16GB

Dolphin: 4.0
