so i have this problem where i'm using dolphin 3.5.1383. when i play it's lagging and the screen is stuttering every time a battle begin or menu transition.

i can get max 30 fps using the stable version of dolphin 3.5 but the sound problem are to annoying to play

here's my setting:

Set Framelimit to 30 FPS. If you still have audio issues, use OpenAL as the backend and try increasing the latency.

The XBC HLE patch is outdated; newer Dolphin revisions play HLE audio just fine in this game. The patched builds are often based on older Dolphin revisions, which means you'll still get random crashes. Newer Dolphin revisions hardly freeze or crash at all. Stick to the latest development versions, and remember to get them here: http://dolphin-emu.org/download Any other site is unofficial.

After playing more and getting to new areas I am having a similar experience. Some areas are terrible, but others are decent.

I figure this has already been stated but, if your on windows, i'd suggest using xaudio2 over Dsound in newer builds, when i used Dsound i got small micro freezes occasionally when anything cinematic went on (like using shulk's back attack skill).

well, i tested the game with the latest developer build and it runs worse than the old HLE hack version. Dodgy

it's way smoother while browsing menus or just wandering around, but in battles the fps drops are way worse and the audio is extremely "crackly". any ideas?

i'm using a phenom x4 955 be @ 3,8 GHz / geforce gtx 460 / 4 GB RAM. (1,5x internal resolution, no AA, 1x AF)

Framelimit: 30 fps (i'm using the 30fps jap iso patch)
OpenMP Texture Decoder: Activated (someone recommended this on the forum)
VBeam Hack: Activated

everything else is pretty much on default settings i think.

any ideas?

It's not wise to use 30FPS patch since your CPU isn't powerful enough
