Hi man, thanks for your suggestion, i played without the hack for almost 3hs and didn't have any freeze, so that was the problem. But in battle i'm still having fps drops, it stays in an interval like 23-30 fps, and i don't know why, but it feels a lot. I was using this 60fps hack: $60 FPS cutscene 30fps C244B468 00000001 //disable run speed update 60000000 00000000 04819e78 0000001E //set run speed manually 04819e68 00000002 22CA54C0 00000000 04CA54C0 3F800000 22664244 00000002 04CA54C0 3F000000 //60 fps speed 04819e68 00000001 //60 fps 226642A0 00000000 //burst gauge 2x speed fix by making it 30fps 04819e68 00000002 //30 fps 04CA54C0 3F800000 //normal speed Is there anyone new that i can use? or that is a normal issue that can cause it anyway? Thank you so much for your help. 10-08-2017, 06:42 AM

The 60fps hack development thread has a much newer code: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-wi...other-mods
There are still some issues I'm fixing. Make sure you follow the note at the top of that thread. I posted a new, less laggy, test code in that thread. Once I find out if that's something I want to keep, I'll update the JP code and send it out. Almost there. /edit Making more progress in the English code. Will take longer to reupdate the JPN code. 10-12-2017, 08:25 PM
I just beat the game and it was awesome. It was the first single player game I spend 100 hrs at playing (apart from TES Oblivion maybe).
The mechonis capital was the only location where I've noticed slowdowns on my config but only when fighting 2+ enemies. 10-20-2017, 11:28 PM
Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to ask if someone could help me with running this game on my gaming PC, Specs: Processor: Inter®Core i5-6600k CPU @ 3.50GHz 3.50GHz Installed Memory (RAM): 8.00 GB. System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor. Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 970. So I played the game last year on the same PC and it ran fine, relatively speaking. I'm not sure how it ran well as I just tweaked it without the texture pack and looked really good. However, I got all my PC parts and installed it in a new case, and somehow lost my save. Anyway, I installed dolphin again and got a save from gamefaqs to a point where I left off before. The thing is the game looks terrible (aside from the UI) even with the texture pack. I got the development version 5.0-5620 as Dev versions are the only ones that can play the texture packs. Only Colony 9 looks great, but other areas look like am playing on a Wii. Also, FPS is always ALWAYS dropping, and can never EVER maintain 30fps will everything turned low + no texture pack. I played a couple of hours of the save that I got from GF and nothing changed, and I played a new game and the same thing happened. I added my settings from 5.0-5620. I am pretty sure it's something am not seeing. Forgive me, as I am new to this. I should also note that I tried running other Wii/GC games and they all run fine. 10-20-2017, 11:34 PM
Enable "Scaled EFB Copy" in the Enhancements tab to improve the image quality, and enable "Prefetch Custom Textures" in the Advanced tab to improve the performance when using custom textures.
I'm less sure about how to solve the problem of getting less than 30 fps when not using a texture pack, but if the problem persists, try turning on "Store EFB Copies to Texture Only" in the Hacks tab. (This breaks the savefile thumbnails.) 10-21-2017, 12:42 AM

Went from 240p/20fps to 1080p/60fps. Bless you, Juice. Also, is it possible to get 60fps at full HD or do I have to downgrade too 900p? I keep getting dips to 40-ish every couple of minutes... 10-23-2017, 11:10 PM
Try my latest 60fps code I just posted (in the hacks thread), where you disable it after enabling it. Also, try increasing the config -> overclock to 110% ~ 120%.

I have missing textures galore going on rn. I'm playing in OSX (full specs on profile). I had similar problems with Pokemon Colosseum, but the game was at least playable. This happened on the main menu.
I've tried both with the original game and the HD Texture Pack people on this forum made. I was hoping to play it with those textures if possible. I'm fairly new to Dolphin, but if I could figure out what exactly is going on or how to fix it, I'd be very appreciative. Here's what the main menu looks like: https://imgur.com/a/Nf1Pp I glanced over the FAQ and didn't see anything about this, and have also searched the internet for quite some time with no luck on a fix. I also did follow all the instructions for the texture pack properly (though it didn't work with the original either so that's beside the point). |
