You can't have both quality and performance apparently with your rig and configuration so pick your poison. Hey, actually the bug stays even at native... I must have touched something in the settings, the glitch stays the same whether I play native or 3x native. Also here are my specs : Hardware Overview: Model Name: iMac Processor Name: Intel Core i5 Processor Speed: 2,5 GHz Number of Processors: 1 Total Number of Cores: 4 L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB L3 Cache: 6 MB Memory: 4 GB Im testing out different settings right now, will let you know if I miraculously solve the issue EDIT: Some improvement, I put the CPU overclock at 50% and the ''boom'' noise is gone, but the visual freeze is still there.
Hi guys, I'm having a bit of a problem with this game and I'm wondering if anybody can help me. I have the game running fine at a pretty constant 25-30fps and have already played about 30 hours of it. Very occasionally the audio would start stuttering and this couldn't be fixed without closing Dolphin and loading the game up again. This was only happening every now and then so it wasn't really an issue, but lately it's started happening quite a lot. It's especially annoying that it usually seems to start during cutscenes, so I can't just save the game and close Dolphin to restart.
Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening, and why it might be happening more than it did before? I haven't changed any settings, and I'm already using HLE sound as the others weren't any good. Time stretching is on with 7 latency on xaudio2 backend. I'm also using an Ishiiruka build if that makes a difference 04-07-2016, 01:36 AM
It could very well be Ishiiruka's time stretching. Try the latest dev version and see if the issue persists.

Is it normal that the game is stuttering even on native graphics ?
I posted my specs above, I'm also using the new dolphin dev from 1 day ago. Strange thing is, the stuttering got worse overtime, a week ago it was not stuttering as much. Pls help
Where can I find the 60VPS patch?
Yes, I know it's not necessary now, but I want it to play Xenoblade in my PAL Wii console. 04-09-2016, 12:52 AM

Is there a way to disable subtitles during minor cutscenes and interactions? Turning subtitles off in the options settings only seems to disable it for major cutscenes.

Hi guys. On Dolphin 5.0 I'm trying to play Xenoblade Chronicles. I get a consistent 30fps and 90fps when I uncap the framerate. However, I get massive, brief dips down to around 12 fps for like 2 seconds, also resulting in distorted audio usually in cities like Colony 9 no matter what settings I use. I've also tried multiple isos. I've included an image attachment that has my specs as well as all relevant Dolphin settings. Not too sure if the issue is on my PC's end or Dolphin's.

Hello,
I'm playing Xenoblade chronicles, and it seems the game freezes whenever fiora is in the party. I first noticed this when the game hung when fiora entered the party. I then downloaded some saves from the internet. They hung at the exact same spot. More interestingly, if I load an endgame save, it works as long as fiora is in reserve, but when I put fiora in my active party, or try to change her armor, it freezes. The music keeps playing, but the screen is frozen. I've tried changing revision to 3.5, 4.0, 5.0, and changing to cached interpreter and LLE audio. I've also tried it with and without the HD texture pack. None have fixed the issue. Has anyone seen an issue like this before? I am inclined to think it must be some setting or issue with my pc, since even changing revisions or a different save file doesn't fix the issue, but I've never seen anything like this before, and it sucks if I have to give up on playing when I'm already so far in. |
