EFB copies to RAM and IR "Auto (Window size)" provide most accurate lighting in game. I mean lighting of ether deposits, anti-mechon weapons and many more. Even in main menu screen you can see this one if you wait enough for sunset.

xXDarkXx, you should overclock your CPU, since you have K-model, it's also can help with LLE.

Still trying to decide if I want to run the game as RAM or Texture, it seems to be able to keep 30fps most of the time.

Is it recommended or should I expect to find a massive drop? (also should I be using "Enable Cache" if I choose RAM?)

Also should I be using per-pixel lighting?

EDIT: Added in settings, incase I've set something wrong.

Your system is fast enough for either, RAM or Texture.
I'd suggest you to disable "Cache Display Lists", "Disable Per-Pixel Depth" and "OpenCL decoder" (unless it gives you a speedup).

You can enable "Enable Hotkeys" to toggle between RAM and Texture ingame using the number 5 on your keyboard (not on numpad).

If you can maintain full-speed use EFB to RAM.

EFB to RAM should always be prefered to Texture. As long as your system has the juice to handle it of course. And it depends on the games. You can let "Cache" ckecked. Just uncheck it in case of issues.

I don't remember checking this option for a single game

Agree
Cache Display Lists will cause graphic issue with Zelda SS (Sword Missing )
OpenCL decoder is pretty useless

You should , you will gain huge speed up in some games (The Last Story for example)

Thanks guys, I feel like I'm finally getting all my settings tweaked to perfection. I lost my old save so I am restarting, but now I can finally play the game as I always intended.

Game looks great now.

EDIT: I am finding that I can getting quite crackly sound ever since Shulk got his new weapon. Any ideas on what the cause might be? (I have tried LLE Recompiler, seems to be same with this too)

Can I use the old 3.0 HLE sound patch with 3.5-145?

If so, how do I get dolphin to use the .patch file? (or is it like before where you need to compile it into dolphin build?)

edit: currently testing game without Vbeam. Will see if that helps.

Hi, I'm really new to dolphin and this is the first game I've been trying to run, And I haven't been getting any good results. I've been looking at performance guides and getting caught up on that all the different iterations of dolphin seem to have different configuration options. I've only been able to get the game to run around 10-15 fps with really bad sound. I have it set to direct3d9 with a 1280x720 resolution with only 4x anti aliasing as my only enhancement (graphics are horribly grainy otherwise). setting it lower gets the opening to play mostly lag free but a soon as gameplay starts the frame rate is still 12-15. I'm using dolphin 3.5-367. my specs are as follows.

intel core i7-3610qm @ 2.30ghz (i'm pretty sure it's a quad core)
12 gb ram
64bit operating system
nividia geforece gtx 670m 3gb

is ti my version of dolphin? can the audio issues cause framerate drops? I really have no idea what to do.

You can use 3.0-845 with HLE-patch. I completed whole game on this one.
