Well, putting everything to max is kinda the wrong way to get good speed Tongue
Put internal resolution to 3x if you have a full HD monitor. You can add AA once you've got the game running smoothly. Tell us (or make a screenshot) what your hacks settings are.
Make sure you're not using Dolphin 4.0.2 but the most recent development version: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/list/master/1/
Have you actually applied the 30 FPS patch? It's not enough just to 'put' it somewhere ^^
Also, don't use the ULTRA HD pack. You shouldn't see much of a difference with the normal one but you will get ugly loading stutters with the big files.
If you think your PC should have no problem running this at max settings at all: emulation is something entirely different than running a pc game.
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk

Thank you very much ^^

I've removed the Ultra HD textures and now it's running smoothly and solid 30fps!

I was expecting that my computer will be enough but I was wrong.

Thanks again Smile

Yeah, even the highest end computer has this issue. It's the way Dolphin handles the custom textures. Maybe soon there will be an option to pre-load the textures into the VRAM. That should eliminate the stuttering issue.

Hi all, I am new to Dolphin. Been messing with settings while I play through the first few hours of Xenoblade.

I had a strange issue yesterday where my computer monitor looked like it was losing signal. Never had an issue before.

Has anyone heard of problems with Displayport and Dolphin? Or issues with 144hz monitors?

This issue went away after a reboot. My only theory is it has something to do with pushing too high a resolution through displayport and it can't handle it. I have 2 other monitors on DVI and they have no issues even while the 144hz monitor is flashing black screens.

This is not my video and I have a different monitor but my issue looks just like this:

Hi, I'm new to all this. I have the USA version of Xenoblade Chronicles (SX4E01), when I run the game using the stable Dolphin version 4.0.2 it seems to work perfectly fine but the problem is, I want to use the HD textures and the instructions say to use the new development build version if I want to add the HD textures. Problem is, when I start the game with the development build version, it seems to run perfectly smooth, I can jump and run and everything seems to be working but then when I close the game/emulator and I want to start up the game again, Dolphin always crashes when I try to boot up the game.

I have tried many times, deleting the development build that I had and re-downloading it, it's always the same problem. When I first start up the game for the first time, it works perfectly but then when I close the game/emulator and I want to start the game up again, it always crashes the emulator when I try to start up the game again. I don't know what is wrong. The game seems to not crash on the stable version 4.0.2 but I want to use the HD textures which require using the development version instead but the game always crashes on start up. (I have not even bothered to add the textures yet until I get this fixed)

So far I've tried on Development versions 4.0-5734 and 4.0-5736. I'm using Windows 8.1, 64-bit, 8GB RAM, Intel Core i5.

EDIT: I think I might have fixed my own problem by frustratingly clicking on random settings not knowing wtf I was doing. Without thinking, I just went to the Graphics settings and I changed the "Backend" from "OpenGL" to "Direct3D" which then changed the Adapter dropdown to "Intel HD Graphics 4600" and now the game doesn't crash? Huh. I have no idea what I did but I guess it works now. xD

Lol, and now you want us to post a URL for you to a warez site with a working iso so that you can not download but just look at it?

Well, I guess it's not a violation of the forum rules to look at a pirated rom. However, it is a violation to post such a URL so we won't be able to help you with that Wink
