Jarmel have you tried changing your fps to auto or audio? And ticking and unticking the fps limit? If that doesn't work have you tried the game with a newer revision?

Is there any particular reason why faces disappear on some character in cutscenes and then the gameplay right after. I can fix it by checking or unchecking the Load Custom Textures box. I had custom textures originally but ended up deleting them all.
Ether Mines graphic issues (missing textures, giant walls of light (green, pink, etc)) were also fixed temporarily but after 10 minutes or so came back so I would have to alt tab and check/uncheck Load Custom Textures. Another issue is...anything I load the clear save file to start a NG+, it reboots the game. Edit - I just tried OpenGL and entered the Ether Mines again where I had missing textures and such. I ran through a bit with no problems at all. Right before that I tried D3D 11 and it gave me the same starting issues as 9 in that cave. A black line starting at Shulk's head that ran to the edge of the screen. Started as a needle width at his head then moved and got fatter than a pencil at the screen edge. Any opinions or ideas here? 03-17-2013, 10:06 AM
I don't suppose anyone has been able to play this game smoothly with a Core2 series processor?
I can get through the intro sequence no problem but once it gets to the battle, the FPS drops to 15-20 and gets stuttery. Currently running 3.0-845 x64 with HLE fix. Been trying various frame options without any luck.
OS: Windows 7 Pro x64

Hey guy's, i just wanna ask what will be stable settings for this game on my Hardware :
Win7 Ultimate x64 i5-3570K @3.4-3.8Ghz (intel turbo) GTX560Ti 2GB TeamGroup 16GB Ram at the moment i play with these settings: resolution: window-1920x1080 , 3xnative none AA , 1x Antistropische Use Fullscreen is enabled EFB copies to Ram+enable cache Audio DSP LLE Recompiler, on Thread, Backened DSound most time it is 30 FPS, drops sometimes for a sec at 27 or 28. Only at the intro when they fight against the mechon it drops to 24-26 FPS and the sound scatters. When i play a RPG with good story, i wanna play it at it's best, no lags, no sound bugs, best graphic etc. so it would be very helpful if you have some tips which options could make it work better. BTW: my CPU has about 50-65% load and the graphiccard works about 20-75% load but even when the FPS drops the load won't go further, why can this be ? Sry for my worse english, i hope you understand what i wanna tell you and you can help me Friendly greetings xXDarkXx
You're using LLE backend which requires much more CPU power
You should : _Use HLE . HLE is faster than LLE beck end but it's less accurate . Or overclock your CPU to 4.2GHz to use LLE (if you have Z77 motherboard and aftermarket cooler . Otherwise 4.0GHz is fine if you have intel stock cooler) _Use Dolphin 3.5 - 145 (Yes , it must be this version ) and "Disable Lightning" in graphic option _Use 4x IR , no AA , 16x AF (AF has no impact in performance and your GPU is fine for 4x native) _Disable Full screen , use "Alt-Enter" to toggle full screen _EFB copies to texture (why did you use EFB copies to RAM ? it obviouly bring down performance) _Enable "DSP LLE on Threads" if you use LLE _Set Framelimit to 30 and enable "Limit by FPS" _Speed Hack : Right-click the game - Properties - Enable "Vbeam emulation" Laptop: Mini PC :: 03-17-2013, 08:22 PM
ok thanks for this much tipps =D
-im using LLE cause i read that HLE do some sound bugs - yes i have a Z77 MB and i do watercooling my CPU - i use EFB copy to ram cause the game needs this to take a screenshot for the savegame, but if it works faster with textures i just shit on the screens xD ) - LLE on thread is active ok thanks so far for this great amount of tipps, i will try all of your tipps and look how the game runs friendly greetings xXDarkXx (03-17-2013, 01:39 PM)admin89 Wrote: You're using LLE backend which requires much more CPU powerI was wondering, are the newer versions missing certain settings or have they changed things that don't give as good performance. I have downloaded the version you mentioned and trying to set up my settings again. I ran with the settings mentioned above, the only drop in the first half hour is when the Monado Sword is activated in that cutscene. Anything that can be done about that? 03-18-2013, 07:43 AM
Yeah i test your settings with the 145 version, the FPS are real stable, only sometimes it drops to 27
HLE won't work for me, in cutscenes and in fight it crackles, looping and sounds really weird, i use LLE further. the "speed up", if using HLE, isn't noticeable for me at my settings. the rest settings are those which you have told me, and it works really fine, only when i fight mechon's it sounds like the Sound run at 200% but when fight is over, everything went back to normal. i can live with these little sound bug, i tried HLE with many other options together but it only getting worser .... so thanks for your tipps, now i can play the game in it's 99% perfection friendly greetings xXDarkXx
I forgot to mention about "OpenMP texture decoder" , it should reduce micro stuttering to a certain point
You should enable that option even if you didn't have a 3-4 cores CPU Quote:are the newer versions missing certain settings or have they changed things thatThe devs removed some options in newer versions (i don't know why but may be just for lulz...) That's why i recommend Dolphin 3.5 - 145 Laptop: Mini PC :: |
