Now I am unlocking the seals and getting crash after crash after crash. It crashed last night upon entering the Tomb. Dolphin has stopped working.

Then today I started over and I got around 5-6 crashes. 2 in the Tomb and 3-4 so far trying to unlock the seals. The game locks up and the sound starts skipping real bad. No immediate Dolphin has stopped working, but I usually just ESC out and restart it.

The game tended to crash a lot with 3.0 (I saw 3.0 in your profile). You'd better use something more recent. Random crashes are still there. But not as often as before

I've been playing xenoblade quite a while and dolphin works well, I haven't any glitches or crashes so far, but I've been having performance issues in battle. Wandering around in free roam is 30fps but as soon as I enter battle the fps drops to about 20-25 and it fluctuates. When I use HLE I end up with with the horrible audio stutter and when I use LLE I get a slightly further drop in fps, both still cause an fps drop. If I fiddle with the FPS limit, going from Auto to Audio to 30 and limiting each I end up with no result or sped up/desynced audio during battle. I run the game more or less fine but it makes it very taxing to coordinate my attacks in battle. I've tried altering the settings like ticking accurate VBeam and turning off Idle Skipping seeing how the wiki page has people do the same. They improved my audio problem when I had audio stutter but I still get fps drops during battle. Changing my internal resolution doesn't help either. D: Is there some kind of magic ritual to raise my fps?

I've set the framelimit to off and enabled limit by fps and the fps jumps to 40s or 50s in battle. It just speeds up my game.

Hi, so I'm running Xenoblade and for awhile it was fine until I upgraded my graphics card to a SLI GTX 670 from a 5870 and there is this weird stalling issue where I will normally get 30 FPS but it'll just drop to 0-10 FPS randomly even if I'm in a menu or cutscene. I heard there might be some issues with the 670 and Xenoblade but I'm not sure. My specs are:

i7 2700k 3.5 Ghz
SLI GTX 670 OC'd just a bit
16 GB DDR3 2400

My Configuration in Dolphin 3.0-843-dirty is:

Enable Dual Core-On
Enable Idle Skipping-On
Lock Threads to Cores-On
Framelimit- 30 and Limit by FPS-On
DSP HLE Emulation-On

Direct3D9
Fullscreen Resolution- 2560x1600
V-Sync-Off
Use Fullscreen-On
Internal Resolution- 4x Native (2560x 2112)
AA-None
AF- 2x
Scaled EFB Copy-On
Force Texture Filtering-On
Per-Pixel Lighting-Off
3D Vision- Off
Skip EFB Access-On
Ignore Format Changes-On
EFB Copies-Texture
Texture Cache-Fast
Disable Per-Pixel Depth-On
Open CL Texture Decoder-On
Skip Des. Alpha Pass-On
OpenMP Texture Decoder-On
Load Custom Textures-On

Specific Xenoblade Settings-
Everything undetermined except for VBeam emulation which is on

Anything I didn't list is probably off. I've tried everything and can't isolate what's wrong. Any help is appreciated.

Setting my fps to 30 and ticking the fps limit also cause my game to run faster, the audio goes out of sync and fps jumps up. I've tried with both HLE and LLE.

Jarmel have you tried changing your fps to auto or audio? And ticking and unticking the fps limit? If that doesn't work have you tried the game with a newer revision?

Hi, i'm posting here because it seems some people don't know what is the best version for Xenoblade

The best version is Dolphin_3-0-496_XBPatch_Win64
No audio glitch
No stutter
No bug
No crash ( well after 10 hours gameplay usually :p )
Full FPS with FRAPS on (+ cutscene recording)

Btw, i had PAL version which run at 17 (when there's a lot of enemies) - 25 FPS ( but really, it's not that annoying, pretty similar on real Wii ).
And it can't use custom textures (but it's not that important Big Grin)

This build had audio patch, i could upload it, but is it allowed?
Because it's not officially supported, maybe admin will shout at me :p

I Don't see a need to upload it since there is a 3.5 version and probably some other versions around the one you have
