You will have to go to Graphics->Hacks.
There you'll set the Texture Cache safety completely to the left (safe).
Now everything should show up correctly in the CAW editor.

When you're finished creating your superstar set it back to the default value, since this error only shows up while editing, also it saves you some resources for the game.
