Wii Sports uses the full motion sensing capabilities of the Wii Remote. As such, you can't play it with the mouse and keyboard unless you record the gestures and play them back using the Wiimote plugin. Even then, I still recommend playing it with the real wiimote, as the experience is much better that way.
Note: In Tennis, you cannot move the player yourself. The player automatically runs to follow the ball, you just concentrate on swinging the 'mote to swing the tennis racket at the correct time so you can hit the ball when it comes toward you. This works for the most part, but sometimes your Mii can't make it to the ball fast enough and there's nothing you can do about it. This is normal. That, and I have difficulty getting the game to always perform a front hand or a backhand swing, it tends to get confused on that a lot for me, even on a real Wii. Also normal. ^_^ -gamefreak 04-26-2009, 03:49 AM

There's plenty of info in this forum about plugging your wiimote to the computer. Good luck with that, there are some combinations that work and some just don't.
