Greetings,

I've seen a video in youtube entitled:
[censored]

This video is supposedly showing how to make Dolphin use CEMU emulator to run Wii U games.
I was going to try and see if that really works but the link with contents provided there is offline for now.
Do you know if there is a way of making that really happen?

thanks,
EC

Well this is blatantly fake. There's so much wrong with it that I don't even know where to start. I'm assuming the thing they suggest you download (that isn't the super old build of Dolphin from the old site that I think MaMario (the person who used to run the site before he went rogue) put ads in) contains malware. The Maps folder that they ask you to add something to seems to contain assembly code, so I guess when you start Dolphin up after adding the 'extension' it gets tricked into running code from the maps folder and that allows it to activate whatever the payload is. There's an incredibly tiny chance that the payload is actually CEMU, but the video is barely any newer than the first CEMU release so there's no way it worked as well as the video suggests, especially with the GPU the machine in the video contained.

tl;dr: Don't download this except maybe onto a virtual machine or a machine you don't mind either killing or exposing the contents of to the world, and only then because you find playing with malware fun and know how to keep it contained.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: Intel i5 4670K @3.4GHz... for now @4.6GHz with a quick and dirty (yet stable) OC. May get faster in a bit before the end of time.
RAM: 16GB (Down from 24 GB after some was given to siblings)
GPU: Radeon Vega 56
