Hey guys, well recently I've built a wonderful computer and for christmas I'm getting a wii u with smash bros, however all the adapters for the wii u are sold out right now. Is it possible that I can use this adapter for dolphin to use a gamecube controller? It would be nice to only have to spend 30 dollars on one adapter that I can use for both my computer and my wii u.

It will work as a classic controller in dolphin, if you want to use it for anything else you would need to use glovepie

Thanks, that's what I thought but just wanted to make sure. I ordered it! Yay! Also, I like your youtube videos. Keep it up! Maybe consider investing in a new microphone though.

Or use the Dolphinbar and avoid the crazy glovepie requirement. The GameCube controller to Wiimote adapter makes the GameCube Controller act like a classic controller, to games and the dolphinbar. And just like the classic controller, the dolphinbar in Mode 3 lets you use it in any software as a generic Dinput controller.

Fortunately I'm quite adept with glovepie, I fiddled around with it quite a bit last year so I should be fine to map my own inputs to keys. Thanks!
