Call me slow, but I just found out about this device. Personally I love the whole idea based around it. Completely blows all handhelds out of the water. I'm real excited to test one out in the lovely comforts of my house. However I have some concerns, and questions. Will it be supported on Dolphin future revisions? I know when I ask this... I'm basically asking for the whole develop team to pull all-nighters with out showers in the morning. Maybe even a half dozen 5 hour energy packs consumed. Since it's a new console it might not be possible, even with the right software. If so how will it effect our computer resources running the new games? Nintendo even said "However, it will not be backward compatible with Nintendo GameCube media or peripherals." How kick-ass would it be for Dolphin to play all vidya games? I would like to hear some thoughts, and opinions about this crazy device releasing some time after April in 2012.

ps:I wanted to post this in the "Delfino Plaza" about this topic. With our fabulous restrictions making it extremely difficult.
I just decided to bite the bullet, and risk it by posting under the next best section. (Please by all means, move it if suites you.)

Thanks, Lucifer Jesus

AFAIK Wii U is not controller, but its own console. And probably have way more power than Wii, which means that it cannot be emulated until computers get fast enough.
Intel Core i7 2600K 2.8Ghz
Nvidia Geforce 570GTX
8GB RAM DDR5
Belkin F8T017 Bluetooth dongle with WIDCOMM stack
OS: Windows XP

Star this issue: http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=4833

3rd party wiimotes and nunchunks, original motion plus.

Will it be able to emulate Wii U games? This is the next generation of the Wii. To neglect the fact is almost a for sure failure being setup in advance. Will Dolphin's project die out? What do we expect to see in Dolphin's near future?

How can it emulate Wii-U games that have not been released yet? No one knows anything about the console and yet you think it will be emulated already or can be emulated in the not so distant future? Lets put it this way, it's not going to happen.
Asus Laptop: K53TA
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1
CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1)
RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333

Such emulation won't be possible before years. Dolphin won't die but Wii will die. Dolphin will be the memory of this console as it's the memory of GC. Btw it's strange to talk about emulation of a brand new system...

Well yeah... If you take a brief second and read the wiki, it actually gives you system specs. I'm not a complete geek to understand how to compare console hardware to my personal computers. Anyways I'm just curious about this subject. ~Sorry

You guys have to remember the only reason I ask. THIS IS THE NEW GENERATION OF THE WII
