I've been able to get over 20 hours into the game so far and have beaten the desert dungeon. However, now when I go back to Kakariko to give the old goron some money for the "relocate shop to Hyrule town" charity, the emulator always hangs when I reach the end of his dialog message, regardless of whether or not I donate money. I updated to the latest revision of Dolphin (win-x86-r7608, copying only the \User\Wii\title\00010000\ folder from the old installation), but it still crashes every time.

Does anybody know what I would need to try to resolve this? I know it's a side quest, but I'd like to complete it. I'm using pretty much all default settings, I had just enabled vsync, show FPS, raised the internal resolution to 3x native, added my ISO directory, configured Dolphin to use my real Wiimote and manually edited the Dolphin.ini file to use a 1280x720 resolution (which Dolphin changed to 1280x698). These are generally the settings I've used up to now, but perhaps they are part of the problem? Thank you very much for any assistance that can be provided.

After some more playing with the problem, I found that if I gave different amounts of rupees at a time, the emulator would hang or would allow me to get through it. I was able to donate amounts of one to a few hundred rupees without the game hanging (as long as I waited for the count down to reach 0 before closing the dialog message).

Even though I got past this, I kept the game save that is seconds away from reproducing this bug if any of the developers want it for testing.
