Do you have the latest GPU driver for your GPU installed?
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 800/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

I believe on macOS the driver is shipped in the OS. So it may be worth updating to 10.13.

Thank you both for the quick replies, and I have now updated to High Sierra 10.13.6, but sadly the issue remains exactly the same. It seems that nothing really changed graphics-wise with this update, though, as when I open "About this Mac", it still lists the exact same things under 'Processor', 'Memory', and 'Graphics', but I'm not super tech-savvy and barely even really know what a GPU driver is or how to change it, so maybe I'm wrong. If you have any other ideas of how to fix this bug, it would definitely be much appreciated.

If there was any related setting I'd suspect Hacks\Texture Cache\Accuracy, which you might want to slide to a "safer" setting. Let us know if that as any effect.

I'll also be moving this under the The Sims 3 page.

Unfortunately, no matter what setting that slider is on, the bugs persist. Here are a few more screenshots, as well, in case they help at all: https://imgur.com/a/nRDnRcl
