Are you using your own DSP LLE ROM? Also, you don't need DSP LLE for Zelda games anymore (since the new-zelda-hle merge). You could just use HLE, which will incidentally improve performance.

I changed it to DSP HLE and it worked perfectly. Thank you for your guidance. Very much appreciated. 02-06-2017, 11:25 AM
For some reason, when using the latest Dolphin Development Builds (currently 5.0-2317), with Bluetooth Passthrough mode enabled, the game randomly freezes and I have to forcibly end the emulation. I'm using a Plugable USB 2.0 Bluetooth Adapter (BCM20702A0) adapter. System specs are i5-6600K and a GTX 1070. I've tried using DSP HLE Emulation and DSP LLE recompiler, and it happens with both. I'm using the D3D11 Backend for graphics, and have it set to 6x IR, 2x MSAA and 16x AF. Just to rule out any ISO issues (I dumped it from my disc copy), the MD5 Hash on my ISO is b61b1ef6ccac581413e8279f19bf3857, and it's the RZDE01 NTSC-U version. I'm using the Hyrule Field Speed Hack patch, and I have the AR Code for No Bloom Effects enabled.
Using the latest stable release (5.0), it doesn't lock up but the Wii Remote performance isn't as good (due to it needing to Emulate it). If anyone has any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate your input. 02-27-2017, 08:10 PM
Am not sure<.> if this is the best place to ask, I am new to this whole thing, my savefile of the game got corrupted, and I would really appreciate it if someone could give me a save file, I was left in snowpeak ruins, but if someone has a savefile a bit before that or after that I wouldn't mind, nor if it is GC or Wii(I know it's the wii forum...but just in case?If there is no wii savefile???...I don't know how things work around this part of town<.<...)

Are devs still taking care about this game? Because its 2017 and is unplayable, wiimote pointer doesn't work (both direct3d and opengl), lot of problems with textures, bad performance, missing sun rays, and the sensivity of the wiimote is way off... for me its unplayable.
Should i have faith in this game on dolphin? or is another Shattered Memories? i think i will wait for Cemu to properly emulate the Wii U version, they are doing amazing job with this emulator and its looking very promising. IOTs a shame Dolphin struling with a launch game 11 years old like Twilight Princess, i don't understand... 04-04-2017, 03:37 AM

I just played Twilight Princess last night, using OpenGL for graphics, and it worked well for me. I was showing it to someone else from the start, so we were just in Ordon Village, but certainly there wasn't anything like what you're describing: textures looked good, the wiimote pointer was spot on, and the performance was great. What's your hardware build, and are you using a current build of Dolphin? 06-30-2017, 12:16 AM
Hi, I'm playing this game with an xbox controller currently and I just came to the part with the fishing hole in upper zora's river. What are the motion controls I need to use for the canoe fishing minigame in the fishing hole? I need it to be able to catch the hylian loach. I need help with emulating raise and throw in particular.

I frankly have no idea where else to post this, and this seems to be a likely place. My problem appears to be a common one, but I can't find anyone with the exact same problem (nor can I find a solution, evidently).
I can't catch the second bloody fish in this game. I never had this problem playing it on the Wii, but emulating it with a controller makes fishing so hard, it's ludicrous. I have tilt and swing bound to pulling the right stick back. When the bobber goes below the water, I pull the stick- nothing happens. What's supposed to happen is that i get a fish. Am i grievously mistiming things? Is there a save file that's just past this point that I can download? How for the love of god can I actually play this game? Thanks 07-09-2017, 08:13 PM

What are the best settings to mitigate the Hyrule field slowdown?
......?????

If you don't want to use that, you might want to try the Vulkan graphics backend, it should be faster for the hyrule field than the other backends. (only dx12 was even faster, i think) |
