Sorted out my invisible Fi problem. Turns out she doesn't appear until after you select an option AFTER you press the D-Pad down. I'm a dummy. Just a heads up in case anyone else has the same problem.
I'm a n00b here, thought I would post my experience in case it helped anyone.
I am running Dolphin in Win7 x64 on a 27" iMac 2010 model, 2.8ghz quad-core (plus hyperthreading) i5, 4gb RAM, Radeon "5750" (actually Mobility 5850) overclocked to 736mhz/1149mhz. I am using the built in iMac bluetooth to pair my Wiimote, and I have the Motion Plus addon attached. The only problem with that setup is that I have to re-pair the remote by pressing the connect button and Pair Up button every time I turn the controller back on, because it won't reconnect like it would to a Wii. Other than that, no problem staying connected for hours and hours (as evidenced by playing well into 3 am this morning ) I am right on the cusp of getting full 30FPS all the time at native resolution 2560x1440. If it weren't for that pointer accuracy oddity when skipping EFB access from CPU, I'd have it. With it turned off, if the scene is particularly detailed, I drop down to ~25 FPS and the game gets a little slower. Granted, I'm asking quite a bit from the system, 2560x1440 on a mobile GPU that I'm overclocking to its limits. But being so close has got me so obsessed with trying to squeeze that last bit out of it that I've actually gone and installed the SDK and I'm going to try to compile the latest version to see if it gets me there. My brothers are gonna be so stoked... I bought them the game as a Christmas present to play on their Wii, but before I tell them that, they're going to come to my place and get to play it in wide-screen super mega ultra HD 12-11-2011, 02:45 AM
I have a problem with my framerates. In dungeons I can get anywhere from 25-30 fps. When outdoors I get anywhere from 14-20 fps. Is there something Im doing wrong? Here is my setup...
PC: Intel i7 920 @ 2.67GHz 2.65GHz 12GB Memory 64 Vista GeForceGTX 560 Dolphin: r7719M build (I'll list everything I have checked in options) General: Enable Dual Core Enable Idle Skipping Framerate limit Off JIT Compiler Audio: DSP HLE Emulation (fast) Enable DTK music Volume 100% Graphics: Direct3D11 Nvidia GTX 560 1920x1080 resolution Aspect Ratio Auto Enhancements: 4x Native Anti Aliasing None Anistropic Filter 16x Hacks: Ignore Format Changes EFB Copies Virtual (ram unchecked) Disable External Frame Buffer OpenMp Texture Decoder Disable Per Pixle Depth The game looks fine. Just my FPS seem off and not a steady 30 fps. I tried all kinds of combinations and different builds but this is the best I can get it. Even tried checking and unchecking EFB and still nothing. Is the something Im doing wrong? Any help? Thanks fellas... 12-11-2011, 02:53 AM

Here is my setup... Try setting "Lock threads to cores" in config to make sure that it only uses real cores Try "Auto - Window Size" instead of 4x native. In order of performance, I got way better performance sticking to window size than doing any multiple of 640x528. 12-11-2011, 04:25 AM

Much more enjoyable experience now. 12-11-2011, 05:46 AM
I've got a problem. Game freezes up right after finishing the boss fight with Ghirahim and walking out the door, Dolphin doesn't really crash but the screen turns white after Link walks through the door and nothing happens after that, it stays white. I used 3.0.204, 3.0.208tex, to no avail.
Can someone post me a save state right after that (I use the NTSC version, dont know if that matters) or know a solution? Thanks 12-11-2011, 05:51 AM
