God I hate this new user post count restriction just to get 10 posts.
Completely useless comment.

Hate the user/abuser, not the restriction. Taken care of, if he does it again he'll find himself slapped with a warning cause ya know spamming is against the rules and shit. Tongue

Currently using r7719 and all seems ok, the occasional slowdown when first time battles. I do however have a really annoying checkered pattern on screen just at the top running horizontally, it looks like a graphical glitch not really noticeable but now i know its there it seems to bug me! Does anyone know what this may be?? Also, is there any point in using AF over 2x, and will enabling per pixel lighting and focre texture filtering benefit in this game? Im trying to not use what i dont need to.

Im running 1920x1080, 4 x internal res, no AA, 16x AF, enabled per pixel and force texture filtering, enabled progressive scan, OpenMP decoder enabled, all else default.

With my specs below, would it be beneficial to use the latest build?

Thanks

Guys, I saw a post a little while back that a user managed to get LoZSS working on a Macbook Pro. Mac's are powerful but don't get much attention for emulation. I can run Dolphin and have a working SS if I emulate Windows and play it there (using Peterson's fixes) but it's super slow. If anyone knows how I can emulate this on the Macbook Pro, I'd be really grateful for suggestions.

Reposting my problem.

I can play just fine for a bit with my real Wii mote but after awhile Link just starts to get stuck going in one direction. I've pinpointed the problem to the Wii motion plus add on because when I unplug the Nunchuck the problem doesn't exist.

Perhaps I got a faulty Wii mote? Does anyone else have this problem?

Would a Wii remote with Wii motion plus work fine?
Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit, AMD Phenom ii 955 @3.4ghz, 2gig ddr2 5-5-5-12, ati 4870 1gb.

I've posted on theses forums before asking advice on a good computer to buy to run this game at the highest settings.

Anyway...

I decided to try it on my laptop since I found out it in fact DOES have bluetooth on the mobo. At first I could only get around 15-20fps at 1600x900 res and 1X IR.

After seeing someone's post about changing some of Nvidia's control panel settings and trying it out, my FPS is now pretty much locked at 30FPS using 2X IR. Talk about a huge boost. I'm just throwing this out there for anyone that might want to give it a whirl. Also, my laptop specs are pretty week:

i7 Q 740 @ 1.73GHz (with one turboboosted to 2.3)
8GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 330m

Yeah, for only running 1.73 GHz, that's not bad at all. I can actually do 3X IR if I want, but once in awhile there are brief stutters in the game that occur and the difference at the resolution I'm playing at is minimal.

I can't wait until I get my desktop in and can do 4X IR at 1080p. It will be drool-worthy.

I have used both and they work the same for me. I would imagine that it is your add-on. I prefer to use a Wiimote with Motion+ built in.

"my laptop specs are pretty week"
I cant wait until i am rich enough to call a i7 quad (that has a hefty turbo boost) laptop with a mid end video card weak

If this is how it is "meant" to look, then the devs need to get their eyes checked.
Things close up looks fantastic, it is just the muddy stuff in the distance that should look better.
When you compare this flagship title to other games on the Dolphin it just does not hold up graphically.

I agree that I like this look (AA) better than the original. With AA, I can actually see in the distance. I just wish AA didn't cause so many issues and slowdowns.

Just something I wanted to share with you guys to increase the game's speed. If your pc or laptop is equipped with an intel processor, you should download intel turbo boost, this allows your processor to work above it's normal limit. Game booster 3.1 is also a good program, this program makes sure that you can run games on better speed by closing unnecessary programs and processes. And last but not least, use a flash drive with windows ready boost, the flash drive will function like extra ram, you can start ready boost by plugging in a usb stick or sd card and select ready boost in the pop up message. By doing this I got my speed in Skyward Sword from 65% to around 90% on a 3GB RAM intel i5 processor with 2.53GHz clocking speed.
