I didn't know 2.0 had experimental Motion Plus implementation.

Worked not that bad. I wonder why nobody's taken back the "project"

It's on the wiki for skyward sword, right there the whoooole time. Somewhere between 2.0 and 3.0 they tried it, but it sucked.

Read the merge request on google code. The devs argued with that guy for months. He refused to divide it up, and wanted all of his changes, including tons that the other devs didn't liked, to be merged. So when faced with an all or nothing proposition, the devs picked nothing. Eventually he came back with it divided up a bit, but last I saw it still wasn't divided up enough, and talks stalled out.

Why the hell do you wanna map buttons if you got a real Wiimote? Just play with your Wiimote and don't bother with anything else

If your Wiimote has no in-built Motion Plus then yes you need the add-on.

No. It isn't officially emulated any more Big Grin
So if i get the wii motion plus add on then im good to go?

I just bought a wiimote with motion plus. Wasn't worth the hassle of using an old build with a broken motion plus emulation. Game runs absolutely perfectly with the real mote.

has anyone done testing to see which Dolphin version(s) run SS the best? I've been trying different builds and even compiling my own trying to get the hiccups and stutters from some areas to go away but not having any luck so far. I'm on 3.5-350 right now compiled with ICC.

Well, you could try to use older Dolphin revisions (Dolphin 3.0) but it's not supported.

btw: Check "OpenMP Texture Decoder" to fix micro stuttering.

Try to use the Direct39 backend and uncheck "V-Sync". Also try to check "Skip EFB Access from CPU".
