[Wii] The Last Story

A long, long time ago. I posted several times about this, just kept getting ignored. Makes me wonder if people actually play this or just use this as benchmark.

I guess I won't be playing until it gets fixed then. I now join you in your wait to see this bug fixed. 06-19-2015, 03:22 AM

Honestly, if you'd bother to bisect it when it breaks, maybe people would be willing to look into it. Don't expect me to bend over backwards for you again and again if you aren't reasonable. I tested it for a while, it remained broken, started working again, and then you said it broke again with no build. I'm not hunting it down myself again, have fun. 06-21-2015, 08:52 AM
I bisected the issue and determined that 4.0-6056 was the build that broke the FMV audio. It also appears to only affect HLE audio as LLE works fine.

Are you absolutely certain? That seems like it should be unrelated...
https://dolphin-emu.org/download/dev/8fb...ec7da43b8/ Then again, the original fix was unrelated as well. I just want to verify before pinging.
Okay so i went back and double checked and it appears that for some reason the audio in the first FMV only will play if you do NOT fast forward at all through any of the cutscenes. Its seems odd but I tested it multiple times and they all gave that result. Here is the save of you want to double check for yourself (I uses 4.0-6056 for the testing and the save I loaded was the checkpoint save about 3 minutes before the first FMV). Link
Edit 1: Forgot to attach link to save file. Edit 2: It appears that this glitch is also present in the most recent version. |
