"FIFO is overflown by GatherPipe ! CPU thread is too fast!" - I get this error on 4.0-926 revision. It crashes every 5 minutes or so. It appears to run a few FPS faster than the 4.0.2 version, and the audio isn't laggy. If there is a fix for this that won't slow my FPS down, let me know.

Question, how demanding is this game on a AMD Phenom II BUT on an older version such as 3.0? I'm also talking about HLE too.
Overclock this Phenom II if you can. It will help you. But don't expect too much (with this game at least).
3.0 is faster but less reliable and not recommended/supported. LLE is not needed for this game

Can someone recommend me a build to play this along with best settings?
I tried 4.0.2 and 3.5, but I was hoping for better performance. i5 4670k @ 4.3gz / r9 280x -------------- [EDIT] I switched to the latest development build and i'm running it at fullspeed now so far. I was too quick to ask for help i guess 03-13-2014, 05:57 PM
So what are the popular speed builds for this game?
I have a Phenom 965 OCing at 4.2 GHz. Can I even expect 30 FPS at most places in the game? 03-14-2014, 02:52 AM

Your hardware is still far too weak to run this game at 30 FPS for most of the game. You could get in the mid 20s, but fullspeed all the time requires better hardware (Intel Sandy Bridge or newer, and overclocked at that).
dolphin 3.5 or 4.0.2, which one is better for TLS ? also, should i use openGL or DX ?

The latest development revisions should actually be better than either.
As for OpenGL or D3D11, try both. Seriously, a lot of work has been going on to Dolphin recently. It's hard to give a straight answer now depending on your GPU, the drivers you're using, and your Dolphin revision. I'm biased in favor of OpenGL in general though, if you must know. |
