Tested it with latest build (5627), and game crashes after 10 seconds of black screen with error "invalid read from 0x93800000, PC= 0x80004520", infinite popups appearing with the read address advancing 1.

Did you try what the wiki says?

wiki Wrote:Crash on Boot
This game checks what country you are set to in order to determine what language strapscreen to load. Because certain versions of the game don't contain certain versions of the strapscreen. By default, Dolphin sets the country to switzerland, so the U.S. version of the game will crash. Refer issue 10066.
To fix, load up the Wii System menu and set the Country to any NTSC region country (all listed countries in the NTSC System Menu will be NTSC countries.)

Not yet, I think this crash is not related.

Anyways, I'm going to, any guide or link on how to change the language ?

You mean, Dolphin configuration, Wii tab, System language ?

That will change the language. But keep in mind that the country setting is separate from the language setting, and the country setting can't be set in Dolphin's settings.

Ok, fair enough. where can I set the country setting then ? Is it set in an external config ini file ?
Thanks,

Thanks,

It's in the SYSCONF file. The best way to change it is to use the Wii Menu, like an earlier post said. It's not a plaintext file, so it's not easy to edit, but you can technically edit it with a hex editor if you know how the format works.

How do I activate this Wii menu if it's not inside the emulator ? Also searched the entire dolphin folder for "SYSCONF", but found nothing. Sorry for the noob questions, but I really can't find this option
