I need ideas for resolving the pointer issue with this game. I am using the trick described in the first post of assigning the "hide" pointer function to an unused button in the controller. The problem is that unless all four controllers are connected when the game is launched, the pointers for the disconnected controllers show up again in the middle of the screen.
Is there any way to make the pointers go away without having to edit the ini file to remove emulation of the disconnected controllers? Thanks.

Hello everybody.
My Problem: I cannot get one of the (if not THE) best Tetris game running: Tetris Party Deluxe on WII. It starts ok, but the buttons wont work (it is a game that has to be played with the wiimote sidewards) It does not seem to realize the Wiimote as horizontal, as it displays a Crosshair, as if the Wiimote was pointing to the screen. Things i have tried: 1.) Renamed the file tetris.wbfs to tetris.side.wbfs (this changes some buttons, but the crosshair is still displayed and the game is still unplayable) 2.)Tinker with the Dolphin console and tried to manually remap the buttons, activate the classic controller (with is alledgedly supported by Tetris) but nothing seems to work, as the main problem is that tetris will always aknowledge the WiiMote as NOT being held sidewards. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Elmex (01-29-2023, 05:53 PM)elmexubi Wrote: Hello everybody. Yeah, I'm also seeing this, it seems to be stuck in pointer controls for some reason. You can configure the "Point" controls under Wii Remote 1\Motion Simuation\Point to a control stick to work around this and use pointer controls, but it's not ideal. Not really clear why it's going wrong. |
