For me it depends on the stage. Certain stages i get no slowdowns and others I get a little.

I need some help....been trying to run this game at 60fps in fighting but the closest ive ever come is around 43fps. The game starts out at 60 nd then drops while selecting characters and in fighting, The revision which worked best in stability without any lag at all just the fps drop problem was 4966 by mamario.

Can someone point me in the direction of a revision and please tell me exactly what settings to put...my specs are in my sig, and there not that bad so im pretty sure i should be getting higher fps.
thanks a lot!

Hey guys

Im having the same sorta things as the guy above .

Running Dolphin r4986

In game runs about 40FPS , goes lower when supers activated , running at 80% speed

I have a AMD Athalon 64 X2 dual core 3800+ processer
Asus A8n sli premium motherboard
Geforce 7800GT
2gig corsair pro series TwinX matched memory pair

What would I need to upgrade to get this running at a constant 60fps ?
From what ive read Dolphin requires a beefy processer so should I overclock my 3800+ or look at getting a newer one or is it my graphics card also holding it up ?

Im running it at low settings , just wanna practise my combos really .
seems to run better in direct3d9 rather than openGL but if anyone had some suggestions to make it run better id really appreciate it

Thanks guys Smile

Unfortunately your settings don't work at all for me, I get an insane amount of slowdown with that build and settings. I've tried both OpenGL and Direct3D.

Settings aren't the only thing that matter, though significant..

Hardware matters even more. For example, 2 guys could have the exact same configs, but the other gets just 5-10 fps in every game due to old parts in computer such as graphics card, inadequate ram, etc.

I completely understand that, I've already stated in previous posts I think I've gotten the game the best I can with my system unfortunately. But I posted my specs and settings for those who are in the same boat as me.

I tried these settings and this build, and the game runs at a great fps on my computer, no lag when I'm doing anything mid-fight, but there's one problem.

As you can see, it varies from character to character. Some, like Ryu, can show up as normal, or others, like Chun-Li and Morrigan can kind of show up but most characters end up like Volnutt, with little to no part of them showing up at all. Also, that level's not really a great example, but more complicated levels have lots of things missing, too.

My specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit
4GB ram
AMD Athlon II X3 435 Processor (2.90GHz)
NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT

Like I said, while fighting, there's virtually no lag. None on first attack or on the special moves, and the effects show up fine, too.

It runs alright with the OpenGL plugin, but the normal lag stuff is there. (first attack, special moves)

Good sir, I think your bottleneck is your GFX card, I recommend getting another one of the same and running them in SLI, I hear two of those is a great combination for running stuff at high settings.
