Did anyone manage to fix the out of sync audio issue during cut scenes, or is there a specific setting needed?

The game runs at 60 FPS constantly, but the audio still goes out of sync.

Using r5160.

One more thing-
The skits show up with a black background, but it should be the character images on a transparent background.

This is what it should be like:

But instead it just shows with a pure black background and the character images.

Wow, I didn't know It should be on a transparent background...I'm using the PAL version and they run on a black background. About the sync issue...I'm using the last revision and there's no problem. I think that issue was fixed in the 4788 revision

Maybe the audio sync issue isn't occurring in the PAL version? I have the NTSC version.

And yeah I wasn't sure about the skits from the moment I saw it, because even back in the Tales of Phantasia days, when it came out on PSX, the skits were transparent.

The controller I use is Logitech Rumblepad II:

A-Button = 2 (Perform actions like talking, attacking, etc)
B-Button = 3 (Perform skills in battle)
+-Button = 4 (Opens up the Menu)
1-Button = Start Button (Pauses game in battle)
2-Button = Select Button (Changes battle modes between Auto, Semi-auto, Manual)
Pitch Up = L3 Button (The left-stick pressed down)
Pitch Down = R3 Button (The right-stick pressed down)
Z-button = L2 (Uses Guard in battle, and enables the Sorceror's Ring on the fields)

well.... when this screen appear, i pressed A and B but nothing happen ... ? Althought i used A to skip trailer scene ??

Are you pressing them at the same time?

Make sure the buttons are assigned correctly as well, and that you're not missing on the B-button for example.

Decided to take some new screenshots for this game, since not a lot was posted.

New screens (Played on SVN 5160):
- SSAA 4X (9X caused slowdowns with 1680x1050 resolution sadly).
Note: Even though 9X SSAA caused slowdowns with this resolution, it didn't cause a drop of FPS in 1280x720 resolution.

new problem 8-} ... well maybe i have so many problems today ....
I have a Ring of Sorcerer now ... but when i hold Z > Aim > Press A .... but nothing happen ? I need fire to open the gate in arc save Marta >.<\

Edited: ... this's game interesting, i solve my problem ... sry for ask so much >.<

Interesting. After messing around a bit in the game, I somehow ended up glitching the graphics a bit, but it somehow partially fixed the skits?

The background you see is from a previous period inside that dungeon, while the party members were talking to each other. I'm not sure how it works, but I guess skits uses different layers of graphics, one for background, one for the character images, and then the actual text?

Might be relevant in fully fixing skits.
