Wii system menu all glitched out and runs slowly

I think when this started to occur is when i tried to install the mario kart channel onto the system to see what it was going to do, Then it took me to the wii menu and the whole menu was buggy and it was running very slowly. If you need to know what verson im running, im running 5.0-10945.
