Hey! New to Dolphin as I have just built my first PC(specs in sig) I'm already planning to get 4 GCN to USB pieces for this game.

I was wondering about specific settings for this game and how are you guys running Project:M if at all? New demo comes out tomorrow!

I was wondering if someone could give me some advice for random slowdown in this game (even while it is running at full speed).

Whenever I set FPS to "Auto" or to "Audio" it will run the game at the default 60 FPS.. however, even when the FPS shows 60, I will get random minor slowdown in a match. It is very frustrating and takes you out of the mood so to speak. I usually work around this by setting frame limit to "65" instead.. the game will stay at the speed, and I will not notice any slowdown... however, this of course creates its own problems because if I'm playing with purists, they will get mad at the slightly faster game speed.

I've got a Sandybridge 2500k set to 4.2ghz, GeForce 470, plenty of ram.. I've played with most of the settings, and like I said.. the emulation speed is usually solid and full-speed, it's just that there's a perceivable slowdown at times, even when the emulator thinks it's running at full speed. I'm running Dolphin 3.0-556 at the moment, and I'm using the DX11 graphics plugin, HLE Audio.

Is this a known issue? Am I the only one having this? Any advice would be tremendously appreciated!

I say let them get mad at you. It's their own fault for playing with inferior hardware that can't keep up.

If setting frame limit to 65 works for you then keep using it, that's what I would have done anyway.

Hi. First time I try SSBB on Dolphin 3.0 r441, and I have a doubt about SSBB's saving system. When first running it created a 128 Mb save file in /User/Wii called sd.raw, but also created the usual folder Title. Now, from other Wii games I understood the progress was saved in Title.

Where does SSBB save progress, in sd.raw, Title, or both? If answer was both of them, how would copying, for example, the Title folder from my progress in SMG2 affect progress in SSBB?

Thanks for your help.

It won't. How do you want it to be affected?

Maybe because folder Title was created at the same time as sd.raw, therefore there's probably some other stuff being saved in Title besides sd.raw... And if I copied the Title folder where SMG2 progress is saved, it would as well overwrite SSBB's Ttitle folder, wouldn't it?

Nothing will be overwritten. Each Title folders will be safe. Why do you ask that?

Because I finished SMG2 on Dolphin 3.0 stable and have some other games' progress there, so the saves are in 3.0's Title folder. Recently I downloaded r441 as mentioned, where I first tried SSBB. It created files sd.raw as well as a Title folder. In order to transfer saves from 3.0 to r441 I have to copy Title folder from one to another, overwritting. But I already have some progress done in SSBB.
That's why I ask. Is all SSBB progress saved in sd.raw, or is there some stuff being saved as well in default title?
