I apologize in advance if I am spamming the thread (it isn't my intention ), but I was hoping if someone could help me with a small problem.
I am currently playing SSBB over netplay with my friend, and everything is fine, but I am having trouble with unlocking characters. I know that there is some problem with saving on netplay, but when I try to open up SSBB game properties to activate cheats, I get error "Unhandled exception". I've been trying to find a solution all day, but with no success. Certain programs that create WBFS files (for instance USB Loader GX) make bad disc images where some Masterpiece partitions are broken. Dolphin encounters this error when trying to open such disc images. There's a change in the pipeline (PR 2610) that will let the properties window work somewhat instead of not opening at all, but I don't know when it will be added to the official builds. If your SSBB disc image indeed is a WFBS file, I suggest dumping a plain ISO using CleanRip instead. 09-12-2015, 12:39 PM
Hi everyone that could help me;
I just got the newest version of Dolphin (4.0 64 bit) and im trying to run SSBB USA version (i'm from italy) Description of the problem: After the nintendo warnings, i get asked for wanting to create a save, then it said something about i cant save video longer than 3 min, get black screen and briefly after a white screen. No sound, keeps going infintely. Am i missing something? I simply run the game from the panel "open", i didn't do any setting, only joypad. Edit: i am reading about dumping the game to usb o sd card, didnt know at all about that. I am going to try for that, is it needed? 11-10-2015, 03:05 AM
Hi all,
Is it possible to play the masterpieces this game is including? I am asking because whenever I try to load such a game it would just throw me into the Wii Menu immediately without launching the game. What is required in order to launch them? 11-10-2015, 05:15 AM
Part of the wiki artical is cut off on the first page for some reason:
wiki Wrote:Attempting to load a Masterpiece will freeze the emulator, showing nothing but a black screen with FPS 0, VPS 60, and Speed 100%. As of 4.0-1953, Masterpieces will try to load but they will kick you back to the menu instantly. Attempting to use a cheatcode to disable the timer doesn't work since the masterpiece doesn't actually load. These issues have been fixed in 4.0-4441, but may still occur with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. 11-10-2015, 07:06 AM
If you go to the game's properties and calculate the MD5 in the Info tab, what do you get?

The Wiki says that since build 4441 most of these are fixed while I can't confirm this within the recent versions including the most recent. So I wondered if I still missed out something within the Wii Menu to be configured.
