I can't think of many other reasons for why this would be. To confirm, both wavebirds work in the mayflash adapter as long as they are the only controller connected? This would rule out one of the wavebirds being faulty and interfering with the other one.

yes, both wavebirds work when they are the only ones plugged into it, add the 2nd one and dolphin blocks them both out
you could be right seeing even in windows itself, if i use the windows joystick setup , both work independent, but both fail when both are in the same time, even if 1 remote is powered off and not sending a signal 07-20-2013, 09:02 PM
Hi all,
I get sound hickups since rev 3.5-1105 and commit https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/so...5e81936f92 Tried using openAL: horrible sound. Tried vbeam trick: Enable vbeam+disable idle skipping+enable DSP on dedicated thread > didn't work either. Do you guys have any more tips? Thanks 07-20-2013, 10:33 PM
Which i5 do you have? It may not be fast enough. Then again these problems may be fixed soon

Hey guise, I've got a quick question.
Is it normal to get some slowdowns when there's 3 or more characters on screen? Overall the game runs perfectly, at 60 fps, but as soon as I fight on a match with 3 or more character it drops to 40 and 30, but I find it weird since the music and sound effects keep playing at normal speed when I expect them to sound choppy. Also, it really is easier to emulate Wii than GC? Because I get more errors and slowdowns with Melee than Brawl. 07-21-2013, 04:12 AM

Then again these problems may be fixed soon According to a quick Google search my iMac contains a Quad Core 2.8 GHz Intel "Core i5" I5-760 (Lynnfield) processor with a dedicated 256k level 2 cache for each core and an 8 MB shared level 3 cache. It's runs the game on 60fps just fine, even with anti-alias on 2x. Before the new-ax-hle the sound works perfect and with the new-ax-hle the sound works "ok", except between menu screen and in game when sometimes it pops out and echo's when the new menu displays, which is really annoying. I figured if i run the audio on a separate thread maybe it will work, but still got the hickups. Then again I'm quite a amateur on Dolphin's inner workings. Thanks. 07-21-2013, 04:53 AM
The new HLE is more demanding and will have problems if not run fullspeed
