EDIT: Other minor problems:

1) Mario doesn't disappear/reappear properly when entering/exiting pipes.
2) Doors do not flip open properly.

nice. that´s precisely why i didn´t started to play the game yet.

It looks like this might be related to issue #360.

I'm not sure the status but the issue is about a year and a half old Sad

It's exactly the same Problem as in Paper Mario 2 for the GC. There is some "A LOT OF GUYS"-Type of stuff in the paper mario that doesn't work properly - every time theres a lot of enemies, guys on the screen (like in the castle in the first chapter or directly on the beginning of Paper Mario 2) it's not working properly. You can see the shadows, sometimes, though.


And the flipping effects are broken like in Paper Mario 2, in Super Paper Mario. The game seems to use the same engine, because the error looks exactly the same.

I'm a software developer (database, web, etc) and not a graphics programmer but could it the game be trying to use a render target (eg. render to texture) and that functionality is missing from Dolphin? *

I believe that render targets are used for effects like flipping from 2D to 3D, etc.

However, when a lot of gombas (or whatever) are displayed on screen I wouldn't think it would be using render targets.

* I probably have no idea what I'm talking about but from the little graphics knowledge I have the above makes sense. Smile

when i try Francis Chameleon i can not hit him (he is the boss from stage 3-4), i can not even jump over him.
Any Help me plis.

My specs are:
Phenom x4
4Gb DDR2 OZ Dual Chanel 1066
Gforce 9600 MSI OC 512 Gddr3
Windows 7 x64 final

I am having the exact same problem. Even stranger I could jump on him at one time, but then i tried to change character from peach and then it woulden't work anymore. Very strange.

Edit: could someone supply a save from right after Francis is defeated? Would make me very happy.
