Anyone run into this issue?

I've had it on all current builds, tried all sorts of graphics options to no luck.

Talking to certain characters, when I go into slim mode, when I enter doors, I get this super black silhouette and its annoying specifically in 2-4 b/c the spirit thats in prison blocks a lot of the screen as she follows you.

You need a sensor bar (IR emitter)
Specs: intel i5 3570k @ 3.4GHz;
16Gb RAM; Raedon HD 7900;
Win8 64-Bit

It's very cheap, in Turkey you can probably find wireless sensor bar for 8-10eur or less (about 20 tr. liras). If you insist, it is also possible to use candles as they emit infrared light

If you put 2 lit candles about 30cm away from each other, it works as a sensor bar to your wiimote. This is not a joke; I have too tried it & it works. Candles emit infrared light.

Check this very popular tutorial on youtube for info. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6paa4s8le10

Does anybody else have the problem of missing gombas (textures?) in the opening scene?

Dolphin:

Wii:

EDIT: Other minor problems:

1) Mario doesn't disappear/reappear properly when entering/exiting pipes.
2) Doors do not flip open properly.
