So I tried to play this game today, but I get a lot of missing textures and animations. Is there a fix?

Hi guys!

Is anyone astute enough to know the fix for the missing textures in this game? The DX11 plugin doesn't seem to render textures; whereas, the opengl plugin does. I would use opengl but the fps drops too low for me to enjoy. I've tried a google search, and searched this thread as well, but I cannot find a resolution. Am I missing a key setting? Any response is appreciated.

And by the way, this emulator is outstanding. Keep up the good work.Smile

If you would have actually searched this thread you would understand that it is no fix to this at the moment.
I hope the devs actually care about this awesome game and are at least planning to fix this.

This should not be listed as Perfect, considering the problems present.

Most of the games listed as perfect should not be listed as perfect. If you ask me that whole thread and list should be killed...but no one asks me Sad

If you want an emulation status rating that is relatively up-to-date and accurate, go look at the wiki list (though unfortunately a lotta games are still missing there)
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk

Does anybody else have this problem? Would be great if you could point me towards a fix for it Smile

I've tried pasting the NTSC saves but since the game doesn't create a save the first time it won't accept the saves from the save game thread.

I'm using the newest rev btw (3089)

I have this problem but can't even make it go on when pressing the (A) button over "No." (I've tried pressing every single button btw, including the down buttons on the joysticks).

Anyone know how to translate that into Mac? I've tried creating the above folder structure under:

~/Library/Application Support/Dolphin/Wii
~/Library/Application Support/Dolphin/Wii/title
~/Library/Application Support/Dolphin/Wii/title/00000001
~/Library/Application Support/Dolphin/Wii/title/00010000
and even the game folder...
~/Library/Application Support/Dolphin/Wii/title/00010000/52385045

Heck I even created a Wii user directory under /Users and chowned it and chmodded it to 777. all to no avail.

I'm using Dolphin r7612
Mac OS X 10.6.7

How do you get the log file to print anything about the game? All I see is a very terse log when about the game launching but no info prints after it loads. This is all I see:

Code:
25:41:882 Source/Core/Core/Src/Boot/Boot.cpp:164 N[BOOT]: Booting /Volumes/IOMEGA-1TB/Wii/Super Paper Mario/SUPER PAPER MARIO.iso
25:41:887 Source/Core/Core/Src/HLE/HLE_OS.cpp:52 N[OSREPORT]: 812003d8->81300000|
Apploader Initialized.
25:41:887 Source/Core/Core/Src/HLE/HLE_OS.cpp:52 N[OSREPORT]: 812003f4->81300000| This Apploader built Nov 30 2006 13:33:48 for RVL

Note: Creating a save game works fine for The Legend of Zelda.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Only to report, I was able to complete this game 100% on Dolphin r7589 without any problems (except the already known graphical glitches). Audio and other stuff worked perfectly...
