This game finally has soundBig Grin

BUT... it crashes after just a few seconds (and then the music loops over and over a small part, r3575)

Does this happen to anyone else?

I added the -d but it didn't fix it. r3576 says the problem was with the LLE plugin but I'm using HLE. Luigi2us said "It is a bit hacky and may have problems" in the revision that added sound so it might just need some more work.

yeah, it completely sucks even

About that, it might be possible that the game runs in realtime speed without even reaching 50 or 60 fps, please someone confirm this (has to be a rev previous to 3396).

on my system I get between 60-80% speed but at no time has it ever been 100% the game is just to intense for the current core. with more work I think it will be tho.

I'll confirm, I have my Wii set up right next to my PC for Dolphin, and I've played Galaxy through 100% twice. It's definitely never reaching fullspeed, and I've got what appears to be an awesome processor. It does usually correctly show 60 FPS as the fullspeed (NTSC version) but if it slows down a lot it will drop to 30 FPS, which I believe is incorrect. I don't pretend to have perfect vision, but the RealHardware™ version rarely *ever* drops frames from what I can tell.

PS: Notable exception: if you manage to get the Observatory Oopsie Beam (fall down and it picks you back up and returns you to safety) to fly toward the camera, the game on real hardware will sort of freak out and slow down until the effect ends. I imagine the shader logic for that effect wasn't optimized for fullscreen viewing, since it normally isn't. ^_^

Just a small note version 3588 seems to be working a bit better in the sound department. Very accurate so far as I can tell though I'm just at the beginning. Applause to the authors for this one. Speed is about the same as previous playable builds, now to see about the textures and graphics in general I will report back soon. EDIT: NVM game crashes midway through princess toadstool's capture, weird...
