The game works nice on my computer, r6569 - 65-90% of speed, 34-50 fps. But I have a problem with saving the game. It saves good, but when I'm loading it, I can't control Mario - he stands and I can't move him. How can I fix it?
I also have a question - did someone tried launching Super Mario Galaxy 1? How does it work, better or worse than SMG2? And the same about New Super Mario Bros?
By the way - I have a phone with move sensor, I can connect it to my pc by GRemote program and use it as Wiilot. I also have a webcam and I can use the program called Camspace to simulate Nunchaku with this. I'm gonna try it in few days, it will probably be great fun Big Grin If you don't know what is Camspace:

Working OK with R7128, I just once got a crash with XAudio_2.dll, but nothing too bad.

SMG1 also workd 100% with R7128, you just have to switch to DSP LLE to get the last Grand Star.

In SMG2 all Grand Stars have to be get using LLE.

I tried r7128, but saving still doesn't work there. The screen freezes and I can't do anything.
Well, saving works good, but loading doesn't.

Why do you need to save? The game saves automatically after each star.

What are your PC specs, by the way?

Maybe he means ingame auto-save works, but loading the game doesn't. But I have no clue about those loading issues he's having. We'd need an expert to help here... The only things that come to my mind, have you tried reinstalling Dolphin from zero? Your ISO could also be corrupted...

Strange. I can load my saved game fine on R7128...

You did what's told on the first page of this topic?

Quote:*If the game gives out an error after every level, Enable "Use SD card" in the Wii tab.If it doesn't work, don't worry, it will still save, but the game will hang, and you will have to reset it.

How often does it automatically save? I played through tutorial, I went through three stars, which throw me to another planet, then I opened the game again and the game was saved (there was an icon which I created), but when I opened it the game started from the beginning. What star do you mean? Because maybe I just didn't get to first autosave point.
Also, quick save works, but quick load doesn't - the game freezes. I can hear the sound, but the screen doesn't move. On r6569 the screen moves, but I can't control the game after quick loading.
My pc specs: Geforce 9600GT, WinXP SP3, DX9.0c, AMD Athlon ™ 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 5600+, MMX, 3dNow (2 CPUs). It's from 2008, but SMG2 is playable - usually about 40 fps, sometimes even 50, it doesn't get lower than 34. The game is very fast, so even 65% gives good speed - it falls to 65% when many things are happening on the screen.

I'm talking about Power Stars, not launch stars. After you return to Starship Mario, a dialog comes up saying the game was saved. Don't use quick saves, they're unstable. However, you can try with Reconnect Wiimote on Save loading checked in Wiimote>General.
