Then the only thing you can do about the audio is to download a recent development build and enable audio stretching. This will get rid of the stuttering, but it will make the audio slow down to the same speed as the gameplay.

Hi Everyone,
Im trying to run mario galaxy 2 on most recent dolphin release but getting fps drops and audio stuttering. Also Directx11 backend produces a blank screen for ALL games so cant even try that to see if it improves things. Im running at native resolution. Any help on how to get performance to 60fps would be Massively appreciated. Thank you 07-24-2018, 06:11 PM
Hello there, I have a problem playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 with Netplay. When I play solo, everything is ok but when I go online, I'm like 5 fps evrytime . I discovered that when my mouse (I use mouse for IR) is on my second screen, the game run correctly and when I go back on the main screen, 5 fps again. I have the same problem with super mario galaxy 1. Sorry for my english, I'm french.
Does someone have a solution ? 07-25-2018, 02:20 AM

If it´s still dropping frames, you could also try enabling Skip CPU to EFB Access (note that this breaks up gameplay and in certain levels you will have to enable it again). Just picked up 4x dualshock 4 bluetooth controllers to use on my PC, and I am struggling with an issue with Super Mario Galaxy 2 not letting me bind the dpad!!
The controllers work fine in steam and most other apps. Ive tried inputmapper, ds4, steam, etc, controller emulation. I get the same result on bluetooth or USB. When I use no controller emulation software, everything works and dolphin sees and accepts controller bindings from dualshock but the whole dpad doesnt work in game. When I use controller emulation software, everything works and dolphin sees and accepts controller bindings from dualshock but the UP and DOWN on the dpad do not work. LEFT and RIGHT work. Mario Galaxy 1 (and every other game I've run so far) have no trouble with any of it, and the dpad works fine. Any ideas?? 01-29-2020, 01:27 AM
Hello all,
I really like this game and I have graphical rendering issues when I play it with Dolphin on my Mac using Vulkan. You can see the issue in the attached picture. Basically, there is almost no texture, everything is covered in blue. I tried with OpenGL and this issue disappears but performance is terrible. Do you know what could be the cause ? Thanks a lot ! 01-29-2020, 01:35 AM

Hello, everyone. Sorry if this has been asked time and time again (or even if this is the right thread for it. I'm very new here), but I've been having trouble getting the emulated Wii pointer to actually point towards in-game objects i.e. Starbits and anything Yoshi can eat/latch his tongue onto. Like it would constantly hover over what I want to interact with, but it feels like a coin flip on whether or not it will actually do what I want it to. And grabbing those flower things with Yoshi's tongue feels like a D20. It's because of this problem that I can't progress past the first power star in Yoshi Star Galaxy. The pointer works perfectly fine on menus, but not so much everything else. I'm currently using a keyboard and mouse to play this game. I looked on a lot of other places but only seem to find different cursor problems or have it remain unsolved. Do you know any fix to this? Or do I have to concede and bring out my old Wiimote and nunchuck?
