https://dolphin-emu.org/download/

these versions are much faster than the 4.0.2 official version my desktop (intel i5 3570 non k version) can run this game very well.

He was given the above advice a lot of times and he didn't followed it once till now it seems yet accused others of not being helpful in the process. Meh, seriously...

Maybe you didn't read my first message where I wrote my pc spec, here it is:

Quote:Here's some info on my pc:
-Windows 7 64-bit
-Intel i5-2500 3.30ghz
-8gb RAM
-Geforce GTX 570
-Dolphin 4.0-3340

Any help will be appreciated! Thanks!

As you can see I've already tried the latest developement version of dolphin (It was the first version I've used when I encounterd that fps problem btw)

Just because a game is slow doesn't mean it's a dolphin issue. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a demanding game. If you're running at 1x IR, EFB2Texture, Fast Texture Cache and still running into slowdowns, maybe your computer just isn't fast enough.

Also have you tried Opengl and hle audio as suggested for being faster in this game? No offense but i find it hard to believe that you have the same speed issues with 4.0-3382 and 4.0.2. using opengl no matter the settings. I have the same cpu (overclocked a bit but provided that you have turboboost enabled the difference should be minimal) and a worse gpu than yours and the game runs fine with the above settings. Please upload you dolphin.ini and gfx_opengl.ini from the configuration directory.

I would also suggest to check for temperatures. Could be overheating issues?

I have MASSIVE speed boost from latest dolphin emu's (From 3.5) my only problem is in Super Mario Galaxy 2, the Emulator runs TOO fast. I set the frame limit to auto, it ignores that, I set it to 60 and it jumps pass that, whats up?

3.5? You're coming from the distant past, my friend. Delete your Dolphin.ini so Dolphin can generate a new one.
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk

There isn't a way, Nomzr. As an alternative, you could map the IR to the mouse cursor and use the mouse to move the cursor to the side of the screen.
