I'm very new here), but I've been having trouble getting the emulated Wii pointer to actually point towards in-game objects i.e. Starbits and anything Yoshi can eat/latch his tongue onto. Like it would constantly hover over what I want to interact with, but it feels like a coin flip on whether or not it will actually do what I want it to. And grabbing those flower things with Yoshi's tongue feels like a D20. It's because of this problem that I can't progress past the first power star in Yoshi Star Galaxy. The pointer works perfectly fine on menus, but not so much everything else. I'm currently using a keyboard and mouse to play this game. I looked on a lot of other places but only seem to find different cursor problems or have it remain unsolved. Do you know any fix to this? Or do I have to concede and bring out my old Wiimote and nunchuck?
This sounds like a problem with EFB access. Ensuring that Skip EFB Access from CPU is turned off should fix it. If not, you're probably dealing with some kind of graphics driver problem.
