Nope, didn't work. I moved all my Wii games to my SSD, no luck.

I'm looking for help in running super mario galaxy on my laptop.
Here are my specs: AMD Ryzen 5 4600H NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 8 GB RAM My experience is usually at the start where SMG intro is running at 40-50fps but after that it does stabilize but fluctuates from time to time. Happens most of the time when I'm in the Hub. Any help would be great! Thanks. 07-24-2022, 01:14 AM
So I played Mario Galaxy 1 with Dolphin and a controller years ago and had a great experience; now I'm done waiting for 2 to turn up on Switch, so I want to do the same with 2. But all of the tutorials online are outdated, Dolphin's backend file structure has changed. Can anyone advise how to set up a controller with right stick controlling the IR (that disappears after a few seconds) in 2022?
So I'm playing Mario Galaxy and it was working fine at first for about 5 min and then mario was stuck walking forward and even when i reset the game/my real wiimote an nunchuck the problem still occurs and also I'm using the beta version 5.0-17995 from 3 months ago and I can play NSMB just perfect. Is there a fix to this ? By the way it does the same thing to Mario galaxy 2. Thanks

I've never heard of this before. It sounds like some kind of controller issue.
Updating Dolphin won't make you lose real saves, only savestates. 03-10-2023, 05:14 AM

Well I tried the newest version and it's still doing it but if I reload a save state a couple of times the control will go back to normal for a few mins but the problem comes back. I don't really care anymore, I'm not that crazy about the game anyway I prefer 2D mario games. Thanks anyway
